Hamilton Beach 2-Slice Toaster with Long Slots, Sure-Toast Technology & Removable Crumb Tray, Black

Finally a toaster with a little higher wattage and a longer slot for bread. A little hotter on the top edge but not bad, toasted the whole piece of bread. Cool touch cover is imperative. Cute is not important, but I would have chosen red, but no color choices other than black. I still love it!

I have always purchased "Hamilton Beach" appliances for my home. As I moved into a new home, I wanted new appliances to decorate my countertops. Of course, they had to be "Hamilton Beach." Thanks

Love this toaster! The slots are very wide as well as very long. My previous toaster did not seem to accommodate the larger size multigrain bread, but this one has room to spare. The bread is toasted nicely and evenly.

This is the best toaster ever!!! Long slots, wider slots, plus you have the option to toast 1 piece at a time. Once you set your Browning of the toast you're making your good to go. Would purchase another of these in a heartbeat, awesome 👌

This is the second one that I ordered from Walmart. Last time was about 6-7 years ago if not longer. Never a problem until recently that was the time to buy a new one! This one is with wider slots

Very good product. I bought this to accomodate long slices; when Walmart is out of stock of their bakery sliced Italian bread, they aways substitute "Sliced Italian House Bread", an excellent product which is much thicker and too long for my former toaster. This new model has 6.5" slots which accomodate the house bread. I took off one star because the toaster does not have a defrost setting, which my old toaster had. I live alone so I freeze everything; frozen house bread must go through two cycles to defrost and then toast. You cannot simply turn up the darkness setting on frozen bread, else it will burn. Follow the suggestions in the instructions and run it the first time with no bread. That will burn off the oil coatings and stink up the house, but not enough to set off the smoke alarms, unless you have the ionization type.

This toaster has the longer slots I was looking for. It accommodates my slices of sour dough perfectly. There are no special features but it toasts well and the color is exactly what I wanted. My only negative is that it is cheaply made and I don't think it will last more than a year with everyday use. Also when it pops up, if you're not close to it, you might not hear it pop up.

The toaster seems to be well built and looks nice. The high lift feature is stiff and tends to lift the toaster rather than the bread, you have to hold the toaster down while lifting the lever. The single slice button does a great job on toasting a single slice evenly on both sides, it also does a good job on toasting two slices evenly. The reason I gave it a lower rating is the amount of time it takes to toast, this is by far the slowest toaster I have ever owned, if you're in a hurry than this toaster is not for you.

Did not like not having a clock showing the countdown on how long it is toasting. Did not toast any better than my other long slot toaster, will be returning it. Does not toast bottom part of bread.

Takes forever to toast bread and bagels. Very disappointing. Wide slots are great in theory but they don't really matter when it takes 10 minutes to toast bread.
