bought for 87-year-old parents to replace one from the '60s. parents absolutely loved every feature of this roaster and marveled at how wonderful and like their old one it is. turkey was cooked thoroughly and not dry and quick. I highly recommend, especially for seniors who like things the way they were. I personally would buy it again for my home or my children's home. clean up was an absolute breeze, we were shocked in the most pleasantly happy way. I would give it a thousand stars if I could

This is a great electric roaster oven. I plan on using it for Christmas. The only problem was that Walmart packed it along with a crock pot I also ordered. When it arrived the big outside box was damaged and unsealed. It is a wonder I received both items in the box. I would suggest Walmart package the roaster oven and crock pot separately.

This frees up valuable oven space and will cook a turkey from raw. It does seem a little flimsy but should hold up to my 2-3 times a year usage.

I bought this for making big batches of homemade broths and meal preparation so that life is easier while going through chemotherapy

I bought this especially for roasting a Thanksgiving turkey although it has many uses. after purchase to make sure it worked properly I bought a chicken and roasted a chicken and it turned out beautifully roasted tender juicy and Delicious. I will also use it for brisket ribs pork or beef shoulders and of course more chicken! highly recommend

We definitely recommend this roaster. I can't even type all the things you can do with it. It would take too long. It will roast any meat you want perfectly and there's no mess. We like using a foil on the rack that comes with it when possible because with that you don't even have to clean the inside at all. We bake potatoes, vegetables, cakes etc. If you don't have one of these I definitely recommend buying one.

Nice and sturdy, the pan is removable for easy cleaning, and the perfect size for me. perfect for preparing foods like soups, and stews that you are planning to can, and easy cleanup. Great for roasting a couple of chickens for their meat to can, and once the meat is off of the bones, perfect for roasting the bones, and organ meats and veggies for a delicous chicken stock! An excellent size to slow simmer apples for applesauce to can!

From time to time one of our daughters borrows the turkey cooker, and it isnever seen again; which is why I ordered this one. it is a large size without being to large. The high dome lid helps self baste. We have cooked 22 lb birds in this size. For those of you that haven't experienced a bird cooked this way, well just wait and see how moist it. But they don't brown very well. This one also has a variable control knob,not just the "high/low/warm" of other models.

Originally, i was afraid that this wasn't going to get the skin crispy on our turkey, but it surprised me. We usually don't make a turkey for Thanksgiving, but my kids asked for one, so I decided to buy this so that my oven was free and things could be ready at the same time. worked perfectly!

It's huge! An 18lb. turkey roasted in it, and though my wireless thermometer registered a much lower temp in the roaster, the turkey cooked as expected--about 3 hrs, at 163F turkey breast reading, rested for 30 mins. I docked one star bec I would've preferred having a light that tells me it's on, and then, preheated- just something I'm used to with all my other appliances--and there was a very small gouge on the top of the unit. Other than that, the roaster worked well. The lining was lightweight enough that it was convenient to remove from the base to get to the sink. Easy cleaning as well. I bought it on sale, but I still feel the price could've been lower.
