The Hamilton Beach breakfast sandwich maker is a time-saving machine. If you like breakfast sandwiches from your favorite fast food restaurant, you will love this! It's a great way to start your morning with a hot breakfast for a lot cheaper and quicker, than the drive-through. It takes less than 5 minutes to have a tasty, hot sandwich. It's super easy to make meat, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches (you do have to have the meat pre-cooked.) The size will accommodate several types of bread to include: English muffins, bagels, croissants, and even hamburger buns. You place all the ingredients into the cooker, close the lid, and within 5 minutes, you'll have a homemade breakfast sandwich. It easily comes apart for cleaning, and the inside section can be placed in the dishwasher. I have learned that it cooks the sandwich fast, so you need to try and error on the amount of cook time. The 1st thing I made was sausage, egg, and cheese, and bacon, egg, and cheese English muffins. They were done in 4 minutes. At another time I used biscuits and 4 minutes burned the bottom of the 1st biscuit, 3 minutes worked well for the 2nd. I also wait a couple of minutes to add the top bread to the maker. If you put it in at the very beginning, it'll cook right into the egg. (That didn't hurt anything, just seemed a little weird to have the bread and egg stuck together.) I like the sandwich maker! It's easy to use, cleans up quickly, and doesn't take up much space.
So far so good . A little tricky at first but easy to catch if you use it more then once in awhile as I have been using it everyday since I received it . My kids are thrilled they can have there (meds breakfast sandwich's and as many as they want) without mom having to sacrifice the process of order for family of 4 . And you can have it your way and the ingredients of choice whether it be keto , wheat, etc and being able to have those options are wonderful ! Thank you Hamilton beach ! For making it easier on a single mom and Walmart for selling this product , and fyi the tips were very helpful on cleaning product and the egg tray dripping but overall I do recommend this product. As it is a great addition to my family routine and kitchen
It is easy and fun to use. It is simple to remove the pans and clean them in the dishwasher. My husband loves breakfast sandwiches and they have become pricey at fast food and frozen. We can make a Canadian bacon with cheese on English muffin for a little over .50 each. It's a fun, easy and cheap way to have a breakfast sandwich.
As soon as I unboxed it, I had a sandwich going. It was perfectly cooked and tasty though you'll immediately start thinking of ways to make it even better. I kept thinking I should just make them w a couple skillets. This came out different and way better. something about everything cooking together is a small covered space infused the flavor and crisped the outside. Really good!!!
This makes an awesome sandwich the egg comes out perfect with no mess just follow the instructions. This is such a great product I ended up giving the single one to my son and went and bought the double maker for myself I highly recommend it. If you're on the fence about making a purchase on this item you won't be disappointed I made the sandwich from McDonalds and was dead on just like it and didn't cost much to make it compared to purchasing one from McDonald's. You can always return it if not satisfied. Super great purchase. JD
Love this! I can make myself a "breakfast sandwich" to eat on the way to work. Works great!! And it's easy %26 fast!! I use sausage rather than bacon. The frozen sausage patties work well. Put them in the microwave before putting them on the sandwich maker.
I love the convenience of being able to put the ingredients into the sandwich maker, and 5 or 6 minutes later, your melty,,cheesy,,, sandwich is ready.
This is a great way to make hot, at-home breakfast sandwiches quickly and easily on busy mornings. I love it! Easy cleanup and it takes up a small space on the counter. Only drawback is that it doesn't have a timer built into the machine to let you when it has finished cooking. You have to set a timer on your phone or somewhere else.
One less star, as other units have a timer %26 we would recommend that it would be best with a timer. Otherwise, we are enjoying using it to make breakfast sandwiches.
I wanted this little unit to do as it advertised and it just didn't. It was difficult to maneuver and it only made the egg in a circular shape --you can't warm the bacon/sausage or apply the cheese and certainly not warm or toast the English muffin for a breakfast sandwich with this. I don't need this big, unwieldy contraption just to make a circular-shaped egg, a simple silicone circle mold I have does that already on any frying pan or griddle surface. And I have to use the griddle/frying pan to heat the meat and melt the cheese on the egg anyway. I wish this worked as expected and made it easier to make a breakfast sandwich but it did not.
