Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Coffee Maker, K Cup Pod Compatible Single Serve Coffee Maker & 12-Cup Coffee Pot, Black

Second time I've purchased this coffee maker. After several years of use the glass pot cracked. A replacement pot would pf cost approximately $30. A new maker costing less them $100. I thought a new coffee maker was a real value after ~1000 pots of coffee.

Giving this a 4 overall, mostly because there is no way to keep it "warming" the pot and it seems to turn off in 45 minutes or so. Not sure of the time frame, but that is my one critique of it. Otherwise it works great and I love the design of having the 2 in 1 (carafe and K-cup), as this way I don't have to have 2 coffee pots out on the counter. It works just fine, and honestly it has more selections for the k-cup than the carafe, and that's nices. You can choose several cup sizes for the k-cup and strength of brewing. All in all I am happy with this purchase, on my quest to find the perfect coffee pot system. I am still looking but this will do for now.

Love having the choice of using the carafe for up to 12 cups, or making individual k-cups. The only negative is that the amount of ounces selected for K-cup volume is not consistent. For example, when selecting 10 ounces, the amount of coffee will vary from one cup to the next.

Love the Flex options and that it is available in a color other than black. Unfortunately, it has the same problem as my last HB coffee maker that I threw out. It explodes the coffee pods. Not all of them. But enough for us to hate it. I thought the last HB we had was just a bad one. Apparently, this is a HB problem. It even says in the manual that pods explode, but blames pod manufacturing discrepancies. I have had lots of coffee makers and none of them have ever blown up the pods. I will be returning it.

It's not the same as the one that I had before. this one is very complicated. It said the carafe when I fill up the tank it's overflowed. It's not a good thing at all. The information are totally Wong. I'm not satisfied with that coffee maker. Not at all. it doesn't meet the requirement.

I have had this coffee maker for one month now. Started out great/ mostly use the K cup single cup. It has now started to clog the needle very often. Clean it, make one cup and it clogs again. Going to switch to loose ground coffee method and see if everything improves.

I don't think Hamilton Beach could have made a worse product if they had tried. This is the worst appliance I've ever bought in my life and I'm 75 years old. Older models had an LED display, this has LCD, which is much harder to read. The lid covering the carafe reservoir and coffee basket is so long when you raise it up your upper cabinetry better be very short to be out of its way so that it can open fully. The pod side reservoir allows water to drain out while you're filling it if you set it down on a flat surface. And it's not large enough for 36 to 40 ounces of water, enough for two large cups of coffee. Forget this flex brew three and stick with the flex brew two. It's so much better product.

Ordered on line. No verification of address where to ship and was sent to address I am not at now and won't be for months, so not there to return it and assume I won't be able to after that length of time. So basically paid for something I can't use.

Third time dissatisfied. This the third one where the single serve stops working. One quit one day after purchasing The only thing I can say the manufacturer made good and replaced the last one. I couldn't get the replacement replaced. Waited for it to be available only for it to stop working after a month

We were very excited to receive this unit due to its dual purposes. The K cup side works very well. However, the coffee pot side is defective. When the coffee drips out of the top, there is a blockage and it dripped all over the coffee pot itself. We called the technical number at Hamilton Beachand they told us right away to dispose of this model and they are shipping us a newer model. So please be careful in purchasing this unit. For them to send a new one so quickly, they had to know about the defect. We are looking forward to receiving our new unit, because we really like the feature of dual purposes. Kudos at this point Hamilton Beach for standing behind their product.
