Hamilton Beach Front Fill 5-Cup Programmable Drip Coffee Maker Machine with Glass Coffee Pot, Cafetera, Black

I ordered a new coffee maker and had researched forever to find one I could afford that had reviews that the coffee was hot. Sadly, when I made my first cup I knew this was a mistake. The Hamilton Beach coffee maker was perfect size for me, attractive Black and Stainless that looked great in my kitchen but the first sip was proof it was NOT HOT coffee. Lukewarm is as kind as I can get. So packed it up for a return.

Tried to make coffee 3 times. 1-Does not pause during brewing, there was coffee everywhere. 2-First time I used i all the water did not run thru maker into carafe. 3- Filter caved in and coffee was weak and undrinkable the first 2 attempts. This is garbage and is going back!

Old fashioned way is simple, reliable and cheaper than pods. Makes enough for 2 cups (one cup to drink and one for a travel mug to bring to work.) Love the price…could easily purchase another instead of going through the trouble of descaling. Last $20 one lasted around 5 years, it didn't break…just that someone gifted me a Keurig.

Pros: Attractive, desirable smaller size, choice of regular or BOLD brewing. Cons: Stopped working the same month I got it. I've figured it out and can coax it into making coffee if I stand and literally dribble in the water, about 6-8 drops at a time. Bad if you're in a hurry but much better tasting coffee than I ever got from a MrCoffee unit.

Everything being "front-load" makes it extremely easy for disabled and weak senior citizen. Someone needs to add a sticker on the front of the unit to have the new owner "REMOVE THE CLOCK PROTECTIVE STICKER" off of the clock. A person cannot see it and the clock does not work unless you remove the protective sticker.

My husband and I love this little 5 cup drip pot. We have different schedules so we have this when we can drink coffee together and the 5 cup dills a large cup for both of us as we don't like extra coffee left on a warmer. We like fresh coffee. When we aren't drinking coffee at the same time we use a kuerig for pods. Both machines make a good little coffee bar. The Hamilton Beach coffee maker came quickly and was an exceptional value. Thank you Walmart!

You can load the filter, coffee grounds and water from the front. You don't have to guess if there is too much or too little water as the carafe is exact and matches the water level widow on the side. Due to the brewing process some water turns into steam and also some is left in the grounds. If you want 2 cups of coffee, fill carafe a little over the 2 cup mark. It has auto pause to grab that first cup. I hold the lid down while pouring for safety as I have a tendency to pour fast. The coffeemaker is efficient and has auto shutoff at 2 hours. I am very pleased with the results of a good cup of coffee, hot water, or hot tea.

It works fine but there are a few issues. The program function only works sometimes. I am willing to believe that I was doing something wrong but I've been using it for several months. so.....? The water level is hard to see and the filter holder is too small for even the small paper filters. I bought a permanent filter. overall, it's worth the price but it could be better.

Easy to use, everything up front. The display panel should be at a slight angle so you can see programs etc, The handle on the pot is a little flimsy compared to my old Farberware. It should beep when coffee is done and wish it came with mesh inert for grounds. I would have paid a few more $. Overall a good value and makes good coffee, nice and hot. I like the light on the front when the pot is on.

We love this little 5 cup Hamilton Beach coffee maker. This makes a pot of coffee super fast, about 5 minutes. I like to use the bold option. Just push the bold button and enjoy a nice smooth rich cup of coffee. This super simple to use and has all key features and functions that I like. My favorite feature is the swing-open brew basket because it opens and lifts right off to dump filter and grounds and then can rinsed or washed by hand or dishwasher. All the others just have a screen that lifts out but you can't wash the rest of it, and old coffee builds up over time and gets pretty nasty. I just empty and rinse mine out every time so stays clean and works great. If you're looking for a small coffee maker that's big on function don't hesitate this one is great.
