HealthA2Z® Stool Softener, Docusate Sodium 100mg, 400 Capsules

I take mine before going to bed with 12 oz of water, per Dr. recommendation. I usually take 300 milligrams at a time. It works well if you remember to drink plenty of water with it. I recommend taking about an hour before bed to allow time to empty your bladder before falling asleep. This does not work the same as a laxative which actually moistens the stool. This is a stool softener it aids your intestines in regulating the capture and release motion that moves your stool through your digestive system.

This softener works as it should. The recommended usage is between 1 - 3 tiny gel balls, I take 2 daily and haven't had a problem with that usage. It does do what it's suppose to do for me. I recommend it if you're having problems going.

Just had major surgery. Pain meds do not help your system. I kept these in my body the whole healing process. I've learned from previous experiences, you have to have help. This was very much what I needed to keep things flowing.

I take this when constipated. It helps soften the still so you don't have to strain for it to exit your body. I find it is gentle yet effective when taking the fully recommended dose.

Same active ingredient as Colace but better price. I can't tell any difference in the way they work.

I've used this regularly postpartum for softer bowl movements. I highly recommend using for the postpartum recovery period!

This product was very effective for what it was needed for. They small little gel. Caps were very easy to swallow. It's highly recommended.

I'm not sure why but I feel like these are less effective than the equate at the same milligrams. I will continue to take and see if my situation improves.

It takes too long to work The last brand I ordered worked better I was only taking one tablet and with this one I have to take 3 to get the same results
