These butter goldens are so yummy. I've tried most of the different flavors of Idahoan instant potatoes, and these are the best-tasting and most authentic variety on the market.They're quick and easy to prepare. The texture is smooth and creamy with small, soft chunks of potato, just like homemade mashed potatoes. They're exquisitely buttery, creamy, and delicious.

I love mashed potatoes but not the mess of peeling, boiling, and mashing them. We call these "magic potatoes" at our house because you just add water, then off them and enjoy within a minute or two! They taste great and turn out perfect every time! I don't use very many convenience products, but I do often use this one.

These are great! No other instant potatoes meet these! my favorite!! tasty and simple to make. 2 cups boiling water, package of potatoes (i add tons of butter! optional) people i know that hate instant potatoes will eat a ton of these. THEY ARE THE BEST! (add seasonings to match your taste) approximately 10 mins

i like these potatoes. theyre the only instant potatoes i buy. theyre delicious. make sure you use a fork to prepare them. if you stir to much or whisk the they become pasty.

Eat this for dinner at least 1 time in 9 days! Traditionally in my diet for quite awhile. I really love the texture too.

This is by far the best of all their flavors imo. It's thicker than the others and tastes more real.

They are just the best! They have such a good buttery taste and the consistency is easy to change. Add some butter or some milk to change it up. Easy to make, ready in a few minutes!

These instant potato packs are enormously convenient. You simply boil 2 cups of water and stir in the contents. That's it. The potatoes taste fresh, yet are a bit too buttery for my taste. Still, they make a luscious golden potato side and will shave a solid half hour off your preparation time. Fortunately, they come in many flavor varieties so you can find one tailored to your preference.

A little too buttery as I think I like one of their other products better. Still, it was good and so easy to prepare.

I usually like Idahoan mashed potatoes the buttery blend but it was out of stock so my shopper substituted the Idahoan Buttery Golden Selects and I did not like this one much. It had small lumps of what I believe are golden potatoes in it? The texture was not great either and I didn't like the flavor very much either. I won't be buying this and will request it NOT be substituted for my regular flavor that I do actually like.
