It's runny when it sits, but you can add another pack to thicken it up I added heavy creme to mine along with water and extra butter for a more homemade style/ taste.

I found 3 black pieces in these potatoes. The last bag was good despite the unreal amount of sodium, this bag, I took one bite and the rest went in the trash, gross! Maybe the unknown black “things” ruined it for my taste buds! In the picture I have put toothpicks with the black objects

I'm done trying this brand any more. the texture is awful. these used to be so good and creamy. now there are always tons of little firm nuggets in the potatoes. both in the cup style and the package. sometimes the little nuggets are VERY hard. they need to be milling this better.
