Jiffy 72-Cell Seed Starter Kit with Superthrive T72HST-14

For seed starting, it's great if you have the space. I love starting the ease of starting seeds, watering and keeping them covered, all in one unit. The tray is sturdy and high quality. the top lid allows you to monitor their progress, and allow for sun and light to enter. It detaches easily from the bottom tray. The seed chambers are a bit thin and flimsy, but sturdy enough to be roughly handled. Have used for a season now, can't speak to the longevity. But am looking forward to reusing over and over.

These were perfect. There are plenty of cells that are a good size to start seedlings. It comes with a clear top to make it a mini greenhouse. I bought 2 and they can be used for years.

Containers can be separated into 6 each for growing a variety & easier identifying. Easily bottom water.

I have been using this kit for 4 days. I followed the directions exactly and planted several different kinds of seeds to fill the kit up. After 4 days there are little white soil mites all through it. It's been sitting covered in my kitchen so i know they didn't come from my house.. I'm kind of irritated that now along with keeping these seedlings alive i have to figure out how to get rid of an infestation in my plants! Never using this again.

THIS ITEM DID NOT COME WITH THE HYDRATING PODS THAT ARE REQUIRED TO USE WITH IT. ONE WOULD EXPECT THEM TO COME AS A KIT SINCE YOU CANNOT BUY THOSE TINY PODS BY THEMSELVES.

RIPOFF!!bought Jiffy seed starter trays at local Walmart $6.99 for what appeared to be same item, the one's from on line did not include the pods were thinner plastic and were $ 12.49 since we were under stay at home orders I thought the higher price was worth it to me. Wrong!!

Piece of junk. Placed in my greenhouse waiting to be used and in one day it shriveled up. Manufacture made product without UV protection.
