20 calories for 1 cup in a air popper. Makes a great snack when time to watch a movie and it is organic.
I prefer this organic to the small bags because I am watching my sodium intake. I use a paper bag in the micro with a little olive oil and it comes out great. It is also a lot less money.
I love that these popcorn kernels are organic and a great price! I use this and some corn oil to make a big pot of popcorn on the stove. Then I add salt and enjoy! It's my favorite snack and a healthy source of fiber. The bag is a little bit annoying to pour from since it's a non-rigid plastic bag, but it doesn't bother me enough to remove any stars from my review. I do like that the bag has a resealable zipper though.
I was skeptical with this organic popcorn honestly because it was so low priced, but I saw the reviews and everyone seemed to say they were fresh and popped up well so I thought I'd give it a shot and I'm glad I did. I maybe have four or five kernels at the bottom of a quarter cup serving. soft and Fluffy and Super fresh.
Very good, with little to no husk (that I usually seem to get lodged in my throat). I used a little less oil for stovetop and it came out great. Very happy with this.
We grew up on this popcorn and it is just as good today as it was those many decades ago. We pop it in coconut oil. (granted, it wasn't “organic” back then). Still great!!
survey question says good as. good as what? from what I understand popping corn is not GMO and it is not on the dirty list. air popped (not fried in oil) popcorn makes a wonderful snack. I keep it in the freezer in a mason jar. I always try to have some on hand. because when you want popcorn nothing else will do.
The best. We eat a lot of popcorn and have an cinema style popper. I have tried all the fancy popcorns, amish, orvils, jewel, and others and this is the best popping and tasting one I have found, relatively cheap and organic. If you add about a teaspoon of water to the bag it will will pop more completely.
At first, I was skeptical. They look like something you'd accidentally spill in the garage, not eat. But give them a little heat and BOOM—suddenly they're fluffy, delicious clouds of happiness. Honestly, it's the ultimate glow-up story. The popping sound is also top-tier entertainment. It's like a mini fireworks show in your kitchen… except occasionally one rogue kernel launches itself at your face just to keep things exciting. Took off one star because there are always those few stubborn kernels at the bottom that refuse to pop, just sitting there like, “Nah, I'm good.” Overall: Fun, tasty, slightly chaotic. Would absolutely risk another popcorn-related jump scare again. 🍿😄
I always buy this popcorn. The Colonel's pop-up nice and fluffy and usually they all pop and it's organic so I know I'm getting good clean product. Try it.
