I have been using this product since 2006. It's a must among my Vitamin therapy. For several years it's been becoming more and more expensive. I found it at Walmart online order. YIPPEE! And at a reasonable price on my SS low fixed-income retirement. But be sure to order a week or two before you run out of your supply. It takes awhile to arrive.

Price has gone up a lot since the last time I bought them.

It tastes like a wet dog smells after being outside. I'm sorry but i can't do it. They're chalky and nasty. And they are about the size of a quarter and thick. I just do not like them, personally.

After gastrectomy I need 2 calcium citrate each day for the rest of my life. At the moment it is extremely difficult for me to swallow the giant pills that are normally 300mg. It will be roughly a year post-op that I should be able to swallow the normal calcium citrates. So I'm at the mercy of opportunistic companies like KAL who know their target customers require these supplements every day. They intentionally set their prices magnitudes more expensive— in this case 6x!— because the customer is dependent upon the supplement each and every day. What you get for their exorbitant price is one month's worth of shamefully foul tasting giant chalk crumbs that are the size of a half dollar coins when whole. It is simply not believable that such a long established, highly lucrative business can't figure out how to make their product taste acceptable. Flintstone figured it out. Tums figured it out. It's not a secret. For the price, the bare minimum requirement should be each dose staying intact. Again, this is something necco wafer figured out 70 years ago. There's no excuse for mailing me a bottle of broken dust each month. I have to sweep up what I can to estimate each dose. Shameful. KAL should be ashamed of the low quality product they offer at such an inflated price. Do better!

I am very disappointed in this product. I bought it a while ago but only just opened it. (Expiration date: 7/28.) It has little to no flavor and the texture is very chalky which I find hard to eat. I tried 2 and now have a uneatable bottle I paid almost $15 for!
