Great for treating nausea and other GI issues
I have chronic issues (physical, not mental) that require strong meds. Said meds will occasionally give me days of nausea and other gastrointestinal distress. I take a Kaopectate tablet on these occasions and it definitely helps moderate the symptoms, it sometimes even alleviates them completely.

It's fine
Same as what you get when you go to the pharmacy. Easier to find online these days, though. Arrived on time and in good shape.

Has 1/2 strength of aspirin as main ingredient
Kaopectate had surprising ingredients. Bismuth Subsalicylate (262 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Caramel, Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Flavor, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Salicylate, Sorbic Acid, Sucrose, Water, Xanthan Gum(262 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Caramel, Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Flavor, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Salicylate, Sorbic Acid, Sucrose, Water, Xanthan Gum. I guess when we are desperate we take things we normally wouldn't. This is a choice we have to think about before taking it.
