Kentucky kernel is an excellent choice for breading a number of meats. I use it regularly on chicken for my air fryer, plus a mist of olive oil and it comes out crispy. also I use Kentucky kernel as a base and add other spices when I feel a need for something new. give Kentucky kernel A try(Walmart has an excellent price) I feel Kentucky kernel tastes great on shrimp as is.
I only use this product when I fry Chicken , Fish, Shrimp or Chops. It comes seasoned, but we like our Chicken Spicy, so I add some Cajun seasoning to the flour. Moisten the Chicken with water, roll or shake it in the flour and fry in peanut oil. Finger Licking Good!
Wanted to try a new chicken breading. I decided to try Kentucky Kernel Seasoning for frying, and it didn't disappoint. The chicken breast came out nice, brown, and crunchy. The only downfall is that they should have it loose in the box. The bag they put it in is not customer-friendly. I can look past that because the taste is so good.
If you are not familiar with or have used Kentucky Kernel Seasoned Flour you are missing out on a great product that can be used in multiple recipes. It has a rich Southern style blend of spices resulting in a traditional flavor reminiscent of the South. As a dusting powder or batter, subtle ingredient in a sauce or gravy it provides great flavor. It is something you really want to try.
After seasoning my chicken wings with salt and pepper, the Kentucky Kernel is like putting the icing on a cake. The Kentucky Kernel has a unique flavor which causes the chicken wings to taste even better! The wings remain crispy! I recommend this seasoned flour!
This is a very good flour blend that I've been using for a long time now. I use it on everything from shrimp to pork chops, and haven't have any complaints for sure. The product started being hard to find in our local stores, but found it here at Walmart.com. So I stocked up!
Great for fried chicken or any coating for the fryer, excellent product with multiple uses. Seasoned perfectly no need to add anything. Great value for the money, i highly recommend.
My father turned me onto this and it helps to save time. You can choose a season if you want or not, but this is a great product and I use it all the time.
Delivered 10oz instead of 22oz
I purchased this K.K. seasoned flour for the 1st time. I used it to make popcorn chicken. I fried up all the popcorn chicken and everyone complained about the overwhelming amount of salt! Every bite was salty. We all drank a ton of water because of the sodium. I ended up throwing away the chicken. I don't recommend wasting your money. You can season your own flour with seasonings and the desired amount of salt vs a whole container of salt! Lesson learned.
