Kingsford Chimney Starter

A standard chimney that has served us well all spring and still going strong. My teen don competes in 4H grilling competitions and this is a great way to get his charcoal started for the grill or have extra heating up if he needs to add more mid cook. It is a sturdy seemingly well made chimney and we have no complaints.

My dad wanted one of these for Christmas- his last one lasted 20 years and still works but is looking a little rough. Checked the brand to replace it…of course it's Kingsford! quality and reliable product

It is smaller than the one we had. Taking a little adjusting. Bottom where it holds the charcoal is flat

Very easy to start coals on fire. Well made

The very first time i used it the shelf that hold the charcoal above the fire source failed. The method of attachment melted and I had to jury rig the chimney to get the charcoal to the grill. The manufacturer used pop rivets to attache the shelf to the walls. I will now have to get hardware to properly fix this very poor design. Wont ever buy another one of these.

It says that no lighter fluid is required, all you need is scrap paper up underneath. I did that, and only a few became slightly heated (white on the tips of the charcoal), so I had to dump it and not use it at all.

i never received this item. i need a credit before i purchase anything else from walmart.

Never received it and I'm still waiting for my refund.
