Kingsford seems to always be the best in the world of charcoal. The bag was full and dry and no broken or powdery pieces inside. This item is not as available or affordable as it once was. The problem is it's the absolute best mesquite Smokey flavor I have had. I have tried others ready to like them as an affordable replacement but nothing compares. I like briquettes over the wood. The mesquite wood charcoal burns but doesn't compare in the seasoning to your meat. I found these on sale and snatched 2. Will always buy and will try to find a bulk seller. Ty Walmart.

I planned a bbq dinner party ~ everything came except the charcoal ~ my guest were arriving %26I could not start the grilling until I got a ride to the dollar General for small bag of charcoal ~ It arrived days later and the bag had busted in the Walmart shipping box %26 when I tried to push it in to my kitchen, charcoal dust came out of the seam of the box ruining my clear kitchen tile .

I have to give this charcoal bad review. There was no taste to that. There was no taste to our food and we always buy Mesquite or Hickory because we want our food to taste like that so I have to give this one a bad rating and the charcoal bureaucrats did not burn long, so I'm giving this a bad rating
