[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product arrived. I was surprised how heavy and strong the attachment was. Thought straight away that this was a high quality attachment. Purchased this to make Ravioli as part our Easter tradition on Good Friday. Did a trial on the weekend and it was so effortless.

I kept looking and watching Kitchenaid Pasta roller and cutter sets because they seems so expensive I figured one day the price would come down a bit. Which they have. So when this set went on sale I grabbed it up. Yes in some ways it seems costly. But when you use it for the first time (compared to the hand crank rollers and cutters) It makes you wonder why you ever waited to purchase this set. This set is not all metal. It contains some plastic but that is not a big deal. You can not wash this set with water so I went back to what I was taught with the hand crank cutter, I ran sandwich bread threw it and it cleaned all the parts that were on it from the manufacturing. It cleaned up wonderfully. Plus this trick works when you are done making your pasta and ready to put it up... It was so easy to use, It takes a couple of try's when using the roller for the first time. But it can be mastered really quickly. I will be making pasta more often now that I have these attachments. I love fresh pasta because I know that mine is made with fresh Ingredients and love for my family Yes I recommend this set

I wanted to try making fresh pasta with my KitchenAid mixer so my husband bought me the three-piece pasta roller set for my birthday. I wasn't sure how it would work but after the first dough went through I fell in love with it. It is very easy to make sheets of pasta and then cut them into fettuccine or spaghetti noodles. The amount from one batch of dough is amazing and it tastes so good. The only critique is that small pieces of dough get caught on the back side of the rollers and then it takes a bit to get them out. However it is well worth the extra effort.

Used this pasta roller for the first time last week end. Used it to make sheets of pasta for Ravioli and for fettuccini. I used a past recipe from a book on artisan pasta. This did not include salt or olive oil. The second round I added salt and a little EVO and it rolled smoother. You need to stabilize the bowl on the mixer as it kneads the dough but it did just fine. It is important to run the pasta through the roller set on one until it is smooth and malleable. Initially the rollers shredded portions of the sheet, but after flouring the pasta and running it through 3-4 times it became smooth and easy to roll. Don't be discouraged if initial attempts to roll results in a shredded mess. Just fold it back together flour and run it through again and again till it is smooth. After the initial rolling it was a piece of cake to roll 6 inch by 3 foot sheets of pasta that we made into ravioli and fettuccini. Tasted great and clean up went smoothly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful piece of technology. I love that I did not need another appliance but rather, making new use of one already owned. I previously used an older style pasta making machine; bolting onto table etc... so much more laborious. Using the KitchenAid was so much easier and far more professional results. Very pleased indeed.

I used the pasta roller and fettuccini rollers last night. I didn't follow the egg noodle mixing instruction steps in order (e.g. I didn't measure my eggs and just dumped it all into the mixing bowl and mixed) but did add a tbsp. or two of water to get my desired consistency. I was a little troubled starting with the flat roller but after running the dough through 2 or three times, I felt like I was getting the hang of it. No problems or complaints with the fettuccini roller. Over all, I give it 2 thumbs up.

We purchased this for making noodles and simple pastas but over the holiday we used the roller section to roll out the dough for our Pierogis. Even the wife said that she'll enjoy making noodles now. I'm looking as mini fried apple pies and mini food pockets because I can get the dough is so thin and even.

When we received the three pc. pasta roller the packaging was in great shape. As I started to unbox the product there was rattling from inside the package. Making a long story short this was a used product. The rattling was old dried pasta fragments. I shook and picked them out of the roller attachment and there were also some in the spaghetti attachment. The noodle attachment also had dried past residue on the cutters. Returned product wanting credit for the purchase.
