La Tourangelle Toasted Sesame Oil, 8.45 Oz

This was a guilty pleasure purchase (I generally use olive-oil or home made oil infusions containing the same as the oil base) but there is something about toasted sesame seed oil and its unique nutty flavor. Genetically disposed to Hypercholesterolemia (thanks Dad), there is ZERO in this oil and has nutritional Omega 9 properties as well. While one tbsp has 130 calories, it is a healthy contribution to my need to add calories/health benefits during my MS relapses (weight at time of order choice considered anorexic for my tall height). Be proactive as it pertains to consumption with purpose without sacrificing taste (the best part). Healthy can taste pretty good if you're good at that disciplined dedication. I'm from the old school generation where home "remedies" far outweigh the other option (as it pertains to healthcare intervention by licensed providers or the dreaded Pharmaceutical options, of which (at 71) I have been able to avoid, despite a number of serious diagnoses, including stroke/MS, add nauseum). I'm an alternative medicine proponent, and it starts with what I put in my body; It helps when it excites the palate!!! What is also unique about this TSO is its packaging; it is in an attractive metal container that is pretty addition to any visible kitchen shelf. A nice reminder to use this oil more often.

This is a nice sesame oil that i use for ramen and eggroll in a bowl recipes.

Tried it for a different taste… A bit expensive yet a good brand
