What even is rice vinegar?
Honestly, I don't know what the entire purpose of rice vinegar is in recipes, or even exactly what rice vinegar is. All I know is I've bought several bottles of this stuff for at-home recipes, and my homemade Chinese is amazing. It must be doing something beneficial!

Rice vinegar - a good choice
Three aspects I evaluated: 1) taste - I wanted mild, and this has a subtle rice flavor; 2) scorching - this oil is able to withstand slightly higher heat than my old brand; 3) price - it's not cheap, but it's less than some of the "premium" brands Overall, this is good rice vinegar.

I use this to in my egg roll recipes, as well as a tablespoon in my rice before cooking it. Not strong smelling either. Happy cooking.

I use this for dressings such as cole slaw. I like it better than cider vinegar, not quite as tart for me. It is easy to use, I definitely will purchase this again.

Lovely Mellow Rice Vinegar
Mizkan Rice Vinegar has a lovely mild flavor. I make my own salad dressings, marinades and sauces. This is a wonderful addition to use in meal preparations. There is a lovely recipe on the label as well.

Just love this rice vinegar. Can make so many delicious meals with this brand as it is a calmer tasty vinegar made with rice only with distilled water.
