It's $15 for a pound. You can get a smaller bag for about $10 if that suits your budget doesn't seem to be as sweet as they advertise but being a diabetic is something that I wanted to try and yes, I would buy it again There is also a great value brand and usually you have to get it delivered. It's not always in stock and it is much cheaper.

monk fruit substitute sugar for diabetes

G December 6, 2025

this is granulated just like sugar it doesn't sweeten like sugar and there's some things you cannot bake with this type of sugar okay like you can't bullet with water and get a softball or a thread for hard candy but you can use it and you know Breads and things like that but I like it and I bought it maybe four or five times

My FAVORITE SUGAR SUBSTITUTE!!

Lakeidra January 9, 2026

There's so many things to say about this sweetner! I love it because it provides the sweetness that I love without sacrificing taste nor personal health restrictions. Being someone who loves adding sugar to things I eat and drink, this hits the spot! Just sprinkle will do! I find the ratio a tad bit more than regular sugar though. The consistency once dissolved is the same as sugar. It's very convenient and the pouch is resealable! If your someone trying to detach from regular sugar but don't want to miss the delicious taste of sugar, then this is for you! Thank me later! 😊

A must try product

Ann April 13, 2026

I've been using this for a year or so now and am very happy with the product. We use it daily with our coffee and tea. Sometimes we sprinkle a little on fresh fruit such as strawberries, watermelon, or blueberries. A truly good tasting sugar for daily use.

Monk Fruit Sweetener

Anonymous December 2, 2025

Nothing for me to dislike here. No aftertaste. Not cloyingly sweet. Looks like cane sugar. Crystalline like cane sugar. Ratio of use is 1:1, monk fruit sweetener to cane sugar. Tastes good to me. Zero negative effect on my blood sugar. No "bathroom issues", unlike some other sugar replacements. All good!

This stuff is amazing. We did a price comparison, and found it was more affordable by ounce than any of the others that we used in comparison. I have no watch what artificial sweeteners I use because of kidney issues. This product is safe for your kidneys. As far as its use as a sweetener, it works just like sugar. I've found that I don't like it in my coffee, it's just not pleasant tasting to me, in all other uses it's fantastic. I highly recommend it.

A healthy, flavorful sugar substitute

Kimberly February 7, 2026

If you're trying to reduce your sugar consumption, using monk fruit sweetener is a fantastic hack. It has zero calories and doesn't spike blood sugar like granulated sugar does. It contains antioxidants, so it might even have some health benefits. I use this product to make chai lattes at home, and I honestly can't tell the difference. Monk fruit sweetener is many times sweeter than sugar. But this Lakanto product is mixed with erythritol, making it a bit less sweet, so it's very close to table sugar.

Real sugar with no calories.

Dartreader January 29, 2026

For something that tastes like cane sugar but does not spike my blood sugar levels and has no calories makes me a happy camper. And I bake with it. No difference between it and cane sugar. Monk fruit sugar is a game changer.and so much better than the artificial sweeteners. I'm really working to eat food that's better for my health and this is one powerful tool.

Tastes good without an aftertaste.

Frugal17Gal November 8, 2025

It's very good and looks and tastes so much like sugar. I think it's labeled in a very misleading way because it's not mostly Monk Fruit as it's bold monk fruit label implies like other brands also do. It's mainly erythritol with a tiny bit of monk fruit in it and too much of erythritol can cause some issues. I only use about 1 1/2 teaspoon in my cereal and it sweetens it well.

Waste of money. I knew as soon as I tasted it, it wasn't real monk fruit sweetener. Turns out, the main ingredient is Erythritol, which is hazardous to health. "Recent studies link high erythritol consumption to increased risks of blood clots, heart attacks, and strokes, as elevated blood levels may promote platelets to clump together. While often used for keto or diabetes management, it can cause digestive issues like bloating at high doses, and research suggests potential impairment of vascular health.'
