Las Palmas Medium Red Chile Sauce, 28 oz

I use it for tamales. The flavor is great. I live in Florida and I use to live in Colorado. You can find great tamale chili in Colorado not so much in Florida. I came accross this sauce and it fit the bill. If I still lived in Colorado I would use Bueno chili. This is a good substitute.

This is the best way to make enchiladas! First pour sauce into your cooked ground meat. Then dip your corn tortillas in the sauce. Then stuff and roll the corn tortillas with the mix, cheese, add onion and black olives 💋😘 Bake at 350 for 30 minutes...( sprinkle cheeder cheese and onion and black olives on top before baking).

This is great for making your tamales.Cuts out a lot of work on the chile... can't go wrong with the spicy flavor .. great for chilequilles too!

Very good…so much better than enchilada sauce. Nice and thick. Just the right spicy.

Great for making chile colorado. My only isssue is cans were delivered dented.

I had high hopes for this sauce but it really let me down. I expected something akin to a tomato sauce, or what I now know to be the loose pepper alternative known as ajar. Instead this sauce is more like a watery, oily mixture of paprika with a good amount of loose and settled powder within the liquid. It's not what I would consider bad, but it's just not that good or at all what I was looking for. The pepper powder isn't particularly flavorful, smoky or hot. It's just a nothing burger mixed with some oil that I would barely consider culinary. Not the worst thing in the world but I will be making my own pepper sauce....or paprika water in the future.

I ordered two cans red chili. Got one red and one green.

This was thin tomato sauce with grainy 'seasoning' added, making it very bitter and have an extremely unpleasant flavor and mouth feel. I will never buy this again and am tempted to toss it instead of donating it. I cannot express how disgusting this tastes.

I never received the chile cans, I talked to Walmart and the told me to call fedEx so I called and they said they couldn't do anything about it or refund me. So I guess I just have to take it as a loss. Really Sad
