Yummy

candylou January 26, 2017

These olives are great. I've got my entire family eating them. The grand kids lover them. I always have these in my cupboard. Just wish they were a little less money.

Whole30 compliant

Elle823 February 18, 2017

I bought these olives because I am doing the Whole30 and these met the requirements of not having preservatives. These taste so good and will be my go to when buying olives. I also bought the black olives and they are equally delicious.

Smooth

cacram81 July 25, 2020

Ripe Olives, Water, and Sea Salt. That it! No added preservatives, dyes, or other junk. These are not the same as traditional green olives. They're much closer to the flavor of traditional black olives. I haven't, yet, but I could sit down and eat a whole can of these. That would be approximately 275 calories, which isn't bad, but the 1,265 mg of sodium probably wouldn't be so great. I don't know how to better to describe it than how they do on the can, Smooth and buttery. They are light and it's almost as though they melt in your mouth, but they aren't mushy. They have great texture. I've paired this with taco salad, fajitas, tacos, and probably some other meals. Everyone I know that have tried them, love them. I have bought them countless times since discovering them. They cost more than other olive products, but the taste and quality are well worth it! I have three cans ordered for pick up Monday because I'm running dangerously low and want to try using them in a spaghetti salad recipe instead of traditional sliced black olives. I'm making myself hungry! If you haven't tried these yet and are a fan of olives, they are definitely worth a try!

Green Ripe olives

Edward September 10, 2016

Most people do not know about Green Ripe Olives. They are so much better than the black olives. These are not the pimento green olives but very similar to black olives. Delicious.

Great complement to salads and stir-fries

hebell December 20, 2020

These are perfectly fine for snacking, and they are really excellent to add to your tuna salad over garden greens, or to cook down with chicken and chopped bell peppers. They are mild and nutty. They do NOT have the intensity of taste of a real Castelvetrano olive, but that is probably to be expected in canned olives. But, you won't be disappointed.

Many dented cans

MommyChemist December 24, 2020

The olives are what I expected, but the packaging is lacking. Of the sixty cans I ordered, 15 were dented. I am not sure if they sent me dented cans, or if they got damaged in shipment. The packaging was not what I was expecting, so it was probably insufficient, and most likely the cans were damaged in shipment. The local Walmart took back the dented cans, and I received a refund, but I really wanted the product. I still recommend the product, but do not recommend ordering this through Walmart.com. Next time, I will order through the local store's grocery manager.
