Linksys WiFi 5 Router Dual-Band (AC1000)

The Linksys Dual-band WiFi 5 Router AC1000 works perfectly in my 3 bedroom, 1200 square foot apartment! I am in complete love with this product as I was actually renting, (yes you read correctly), I was actually renting a router for a monthly fee from my cable provider but thanks to the Linksys Dual-band WiFi 5 Router AC1000 that is no longer the case! The router was easy to set up with very clear and to the point directions. It has 4 Ethernet ports, 1 internet port, a WPS push button connection and the power input all conveniently located on the back of the router. I was able to complete the setup in les than 5 minutes. It does say they have 24/7 customer support which is a bonus in case u run into any problems. As far as the speed is concerned I haven’t had any issues at all. And I have my smart tv, and a few other devices connected. And streaming while not daily is still something that I enjoy doing regularly and I haven’t experienced any issues. Works perfectly fine even with streaming in HD. I also enjoy the protected guest access. Makes me feel like I can share with my guests without giving out my personal information such as my password. I would definitely recommend this product.

The Linksys dual-band Wi-Fi 5 router ac1000 is small and very easy to hide or looks fine sitting beside knick knacks on a table or Shelf. The router comes with a quick set-up guide that is very easy to follow making connection very easy. The guide also has pictures so if someone is like me and does not want to read you can still follow the pictures and get it set up without any issues. The router is very fast with 1000 Mbps. The password for this router is pre installed and is on a sticker on the bottom of the router, so no worries about forgetting what password you need to improve on your devices. I have been using Linksys routers for many years, and I'm very excited to have this one for my home.

I am very pleased with this new Router from LinkSys. After so many disappointing other brands and devices I think I have found a good one. Easy to set up, I have a moden router from my internet provider and it is really slow and not great, and all I have to do was to plug in the Ethernet cable to one of the ports in my moden-router and follow the quick start guide and it worked good. The 1000 mbps really provides me powerful speed so I could take advantage of streaming HD and browsing very easily. I also acquired a Wi-Fi Range Extender from LinkSys for the blink spots at my home and they work awesome together.

Received a small box and was surprised when I opened it up to see how tiny it was. I guess it was just me thinking of the old routers that used to be huge. I opened up the box and used the quick guide to follow the instructions. I do believe you need to have a little understanding of networking concepts and being that I struggle a bit with electronics, I called on my IT expert brother to help me out in the installation. Once my brother walked me through it, the router was easy to set up following along with the instruction guide. The miniature size allowed me the opportunity to place it visibly in the middle of the house and distribute signal throughout the house while allowing me to place it in an area that was totally unnoticeable If you're looking for a moderate use router for your home, this device is an excellent way to increase your access speed! I recommend this one.

This WiFi Router has been great! It has a sleek design. A lot less bulkier then our other one. We have 6 devices we run through the internet and it has not failed. Everything seems to run faster then ever! It’s a fast set up but you need to go online to get the directions. They’re not in the booklet. I’d say that’s the only negative thing I have to say about it. I highly suggest this product.

My family and I loved this WIFI Router LINKSYS!!! It is perfect and it is helping us a lot in the house with the internet. The internet in my house is incredible after hooking up this router. The design is very pretty, modern and basic. We are now all able to be connected anywhere in the house, couldn’t ask for more.

I received the Linksys AC 1000 fairly quickly and with no damage. It is small in size and was easy to configure and is packed with options. This is a great router for home or small office use. Very easy to setup, just follow the instructions. I placed it in the back of the house in my den/computer room, and it distributed a signal throughout the house. Placing the router on a shelf off the floor helped with the overall range of the antennas. There are no lights anywhere on the unit so you cannot tell if it has power. The dual 2.4 & 5 Ghz bandwidth was a nice feature, as was the guest network. For family use this has minimal features for Parental Controls. This worked perfectly for my needs. I typically have between 3-5 devices connected and there's no lag. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget looking for a reliable router, but would not recommend it to the high traffic users, gamers, or streaming customers. Remember to change your password after setup to something easy to remember.

The Linkeys Dual-band WiFi 5 Router is small but mighty in power. I really like the size, I really hate large boxes that clutter your entertainment center so the size is really nice. They set up is really easy, it’s only 3 steps! I like Linksys because of the 24/7 customer care service it’s nice if you ever have an issue. This router gives you 1000 dual-band WiFi and has work great so far.

I was excited about receiving this router to replace the one that we use from cable company. I ended up disappointed. Set up was not easy. Most routers have lights to show status such as whether it's connected to internet and if WiFi is working. This one does not have that feature. Only way to tell if it's working is to try and get on internet on a device. To get it set up you have to get on internet which it allows you to do but you can't use it until you complete setup on internet. After setup we used it for a few days. Everyone complained that the wifi was slower. It's supposed to handle up to 1000 mpbs but it does not. Wired internet to the router works fine but wifi has slower speeds. For being a newer router it acts like an older version. It would be okay for a cheap price and a limited budget.In our household WiFi is used for gaming and smart TVs. This router just doesn't seem to handle that very well. Linksys has really good products so I was surprised at the quality of this router.

I received Linksys WiFi 5 Router Dual-Band (AC1000) and I'm sadly disappointed. The installation instructions were easy and clear to understand, yet when I checked the internet connection it would not connect. It would say no internet connection to every website. The product does suggest 2 ways to install and I tried both but still no connection. I called the customer service provided but would get a busy signal. I have used this brand before and it has worked great, but this particular product did not. I won't give up on this brand just yet, but on this product yes.
