a small but heavy loaf pan
I have only just this week taken delivery of this cast iron loaf pan and so have yet to try it out. This is actually called a standard sized loaf pan, though it is smaller than I would normally use. But recipes can be adjusted. It is weighty and should prove to last a long time.

It really does come SEASONED
I am loving this cast iron loaf pan! On the first day it arrived, I immediately tested it with cornbread. The loaf came out perfectly, nicely browned with a crispy crust.

This thing is absolutely AWESOME...I have all ready made two loafs or bread and I have to say this cast iron loaf pan cooks so evenly it's unbelievable...I found the most wonderful and easy bread recipe in the world....think im kidding...try this you will love it I promise...okay here we go,,,TWO CUPS OF SELF RISING FLOOUR,,,1/4 CUP OF MAYONNAISE....ONE CUP OF MILK..MIX WELL....BAKE AT 350 FOR 40 MINUTES...that's it....I only do honest reviews and this cast iron loaf pan is the best I have ever used, the handles are a huge plus the size is perfect... it will last a life time if you take care of it...wash well after you use it dry good after washing and then season with olive oil...put it back in the oven at 300 for 10 to 15 minutes...do not pre heat. I hope this was helpful...

Extremely heavy but will last forever! I'm loving this pan. I use a few drops of oil and my bread comes out perfectly. I've also done cooking in it and truly nothing sticks. To clean, simply rinse, dry, and season. it's so easy to maintain. (never use soap, it'll ruin the seasoning).

Lodge cast iron pans are great! Made in the USA!
It is non-stick, if you use it and care for it correctly. Good heavy, well-made bread pan. Just right for a 1lb. loaf of bread. I love all my Lodge cast iron pots and pans. I' m sure I'll be buying more of them! Also, a huge plus as far as I am concerned is Lodge cast iron pans are all made in the USA!

Amazing product!
Lodge cast iron is a great product. I own several lodge pans. They are durable and with care they will last a lifetime. They cook even and cleaning them is easy. I have made many loaves of bread in my Lodge loaf pan and the bread always comes out beautiful.
