Luster Leaf Rapitest Moisture Meter

I just received the moisture meter a few weeks ago and so far I love it. It indicates that my plants are either dry and need watered or don't need any water at all. I also like that the package it came in also gives popular plants and their water needs which helps. Don't know how it will hold up but it was a resonable price and seems to be worth it!

I've been using this product indoors and out for two years now, and like it so much I bought this one for my daughter. It's a surprise when you think you need to water a plant, and then the soil tests out really wet, or vice versa! It works great, and doesn't even use batteries. The only thing is you have to be a little gentle with the probe when you push it in and pull it out of the soil, so the handle doesn't separate from the metal piece. I had one from another company that broke there very quickly, so I just put a piece of strapping tape over the junction, and it's been fine.

Gave what seemed like pretty accurate readings. It's only been a week, so I can't comment on whether it will hold up to a lot of use, but it seems sturdy. Having the flexible cord is helpful b/c I can check through the bottom of plants' pots without much trouble.

Ordered two different types to compare moisture readings. Both read in the same ballpark more or less. Works for me. Simple to use. Plant species listed on packaging helps to determine watering requirements. And inexpensive.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

It is very convenient to read the meter held in one hand and use the probe with the other. Very impressed. From my use I am confident that the readings are accurate.

My husband made me get this type. I wanted the one piece type. This one takes two hands to operate; the other one takes only one hand, so you can have the watering can in the other hand. This one works fine.

The sensor wand seems to jump arround and sometimes slow to register.But it woks well enough for my purposes
