Marcy 40 lbs. Adjustable Dumbbell Set with Carrying Case ADS-42

My Dad took back his weights he let me borrow and I really liked them. Every time I tried finding weights in stores it was all cheap looking plastic or the kind you have to buy individually. I wanted semi affordable metal weights with the metal bars and ones that were interchangeable. I also wanted the kind that come in a carry case like these! I wanted that hefty feel to them, that they are sturdy and going to last forever. The grip on the bar helps- sometimes I wear gloves but it's not really necessary. I couldn't find the brand my Dad had but he said these were a well known brand and very similar so I went with them and he was right!! Thank you for selling these, they are exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

Really happy with this set. Bought for my teenage sons. Good weight, good grip. Actually keeping it outside. Good for using as pushup bars too. The weights really stay on tight.

This is a cool little weight set. Easy to put together and put away.

I its meest my expectation

Nicely packaged dumbbell set. Seems to be easy enough to change weights. this set is sturdy and quite attractive with a good variety of plates.

These are good for the money but it does take some time to adjust the weight. Only really an issue if you are following along in a workout video. Would also prefer hexagonal/square plates, but I didn't want to spend the money.

One of the collars was too loose. Comparing with the other three it was apparent the hole was too big. I was disappointed with the quality control. It could have been easily caught if someone even attempted to screw the collar on. The plates looks okay but since the collar could not secure the plates on, I had to return the whole thing.

The weight set was as advertised. The only problem was, There was no padding used to ship the product. The first time the fifty pound case was thrown or dropped, the case got busted. I am reordering and hoping, the next one will arrive undamaged.
