Master Lock 2in (51mm) Wide Set Your Own Combination Solid Body Padlock

Had to replace my Master Combo lock after my old one quit working after 30 years of use. Praying this one will last as long as the other one. Certainly got my money's worth out of the old one that quit.

It's not exposed to rain where I am using it but it's solid and operates smoothly and without difficulty. Seems to be of high quality. I just wonder if some implement other than the little key that comes with it can be used to change the combination and/or pick the lock?

I bought this for my teens locker. We feel secure that it won't be easily opened. It requires a key to reset unlike other locks that have a switch on the back.

I have used these locks for several decades and they are reasonably reliable outdoors, if you lube twice a year. My last purchase, the dials all turned at the same time, which made it difficult to operate. I needed to use 3 fingers to hold the dials I was not turning, to set the combo to open. Otherwise the locks worked fine. I guess poor quality control at factory.

This lock can be opened with a thin shim of metal inserted beside a number wheel, pulling down on the shackle and down on the shim. Search lockpickinglawyer on TikTok to watch it done. I wasted money on this and you don't get a refund if a lock is extremely pickable.
