I've been using Grill Mates Mesquite Seasoning on chicken and beef patties. It's become one of my go-to seasonings. It has a smoky flavor, and its potent enough that I don't have to add much else to the meat. It gives backyard BBQ vibes even when I'm cooking indoors. Fair warning, it is a little salty, so I go easy on it if I'm seasoning vegetables or using thinner cuts of meat. Overall, it's a solid seasoning that I'm definitely adding to my line up!
Mesquite Seasoning made it so easy to add bold, smoky barbecue flavor to dinner. The blend of creates a delicious balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors that tastes like food fresh off the grill even when cooking indoors. I loved how versatile it was on chicken and roasted vegetables, and it added plenty of flavor without needing a long marinade. If you're looking for a quick way to elevate weeknight meals, this seasoning is definitely worth keeping in your spice cabinet.
Mesquite flavor has always screamed summer to me. Grilling out with your family and friends there laughing. Great memories are attached to this flavor. I was excited to receive my McCormick Grill Mates mesquite seasoning because I haven't properly grilled out this summer. I liberally applied it to boneless skinless chicken breast and could smell the strong mesquite scent as soon as the heat reached the chicken. Such an easy dinner paired with roasted onions and broccoli and cheese. I think I'll use it next on a grill foil pack full of chicken and mixed vegetables. So good!
This seasoning goes great on any kind of dish, including salads, but especially those with meat. The smoky taste comes out even more when cooked, and doesn't seem artificial at all. I felt it needed more than the recommended amount, but that's always a matter of ppreference. The ratio of pepper, paprika, and mesquite makes other similar seasonings from other brands fall flat.
I've been using McCormick® Grill Mates® Mesquite Seasoning, and it has quickly become one of my go-to seasonings for grilling. It adds a rich, smoky mesquite flavor that makes chicken, steak, burgers, and even veggies taste like they came straight off a backyard grill. The blend is bold without being overpowering, and a little goes a long way. If you love that classic barbecue flavor, this seasoning is definitely worth trying!
I love that this spice has a blend of garlic, onion, paprika, black pepper, and mesquite flavoring, so it tastes savory, rather than overwhelmingly smoky. It gives meat that perfect restaurant-style grilled flavor, even when cooking indoors. A little bit goes a long way and it can be used on meat and vegetables, for example, I used it on my fingerling potatoes and they came out insanely good. I also love the jar, the lid is very durable, smooth, and easy to open and close.
This spice mixture is simply amazing. It it tangy, umami and smokey. Perfect for everything like pizza, bbq and even salads. I enjoyed the smokey flavor and you can use it to make things taste smokey without it being on a smoker. Definitely try it. Clean ingredients as well
've been using this seasoning on chicken and burgers, and it's really good if you like a smoky flavor. It adds a nice mesquite taste without being overpowering, and you don't need to use much. I also like that it's versatile, I've used it on roasted vegetables and potatoes too. A solid seasoning to keep on hand for grilling or everyday cooking.
I have tried the McCormick Grill Mates Mesquite seasoning on chicken and veggies. It has a powerful and tasty bbq flavor, my only complaint is the smell of the seasoning is very strong and overpowers my seasoning cabinet. Thanks McCormick for the free product!
The seasoning is good quality, but I found the mesquite flavor to be a little overpowering for my taste. Even using a small amount, it tended to overpower the natural flavor of the meat. If you're a big fan of strong smoky flavors, you'll probably enjoy it, but it was a bit too intense for me. It's not a bad seasoning, I just prefer something a little more balanced.
