I received this free sample through hometester and I love the the lemon taste it gave with my salmon it was so delicious. I recommend this seasoning for all seafood lovers. It goes great with seafood.
This seasoning was a 10 out of 10. Fish, chicken it don't matter. I used it to make a butter sauce for ny charcuterie party and it was a hit. McCormick yall did it again. Hurry and go buy at your local grocery store.
I feel like lemon pepper is such a hard seasoning to get correctly because you have to balance out several different flavor profiles. This brand hit it out of the park! Once paired with butter, this turns into a delicious sauce for your wings or a simple dash on your vegetables
I'm a pretty lazy cook, like, deeply lazy (and also maybe bad) so this was right up my alley. I used this to season my famous in-the-air fryer chicken version with microwave rice and a steam-in-the-bag broccoli. It literally took 0 effort. I didn't have to buy lemons, figure out the right ratio of seasonings, squeeze juice everywhere, etc. Nobody got time for that with 2 kids. And I really like the flavor! A fresh lemony zing that gave a regular weeknight meal a little more oomph. Also, the seasoning smelled amazing while it was cooking! I probably overcooked my chicken a little (because god forbid I undercook it😆) so it ended up a bit dry, but that was on me. I'd love to try it in a recipe with angel hair or linguine next.
I used this lemon pepper seasoning in almost everything. 1) Marinate for seafood meals since seafood needs lots of lemon. 2) To sauté my vegetables or just sprinkles on my salad or to make a salad dressing. My entire family loves the lemon taste and we are all pepper lovers.
It coats well, and it's as advertised, it's the only srssokokt you need as it is already salted to taste so it's perfectly adjusted, the lemon taste is bright and fresh as well.
This seasoning was perfect in chicken or even to add to noodles just to give it a nice hint of flavor and spice. My kids who are always picky also loved the seasoning. It makes a great meal even better
It's been a while since I've made lemon chicken, mostly because it's gotten a little boring in my household. But when thinking about what to try the new seasoning on, I decided to give it another go. Boy did it boost the flavor! Now I can bring it back into my rotation. Definitely need to cut back on the salt though if using this seasoning!
It has a nice citrus taste - not too overwhelming (although - I would have preferred more). The black pepper adds a good contrast to the lemon so it was a tangy/slightly tart taste with the lemon and the pepper adds a bit of fresh ground/savory feel to the seasoning. I usually add more seasoning than this to my dishes, but I couldn't add anything extra that would take away from being able to describe this seasoning by itself. It would have been better with a kick of heat for me - a bit of red pepper, jalapeno, or cayenne would have given it the taste that I prefer the most. It wasn't overly salty or anything - just right. It's better some other brands that I find particularly salty or unbalanced. I made some simple chicken strips/nuggets with my seasoning & I received the McCormick Perfect Pinch Lemon Pepper Seasoning for FREE in exchange for my review.
