Melissa & Doug Twist & Turn Wooden Tools Construction Play Set (44 Pieces)

These wooden twist and turn tools are fun to make things with. The back of the container has a few examples of how to make some vehicles. It says for ages 4 and up but I think most 4 year olds would need help following an example from the back of the container. The paint doesn't seem to chip off. The bolts can break easily if handled too rough, though overall, this is a very durable product.

I cannot wait until my grandson get to see this . I know he is going to really love this toy, he loves to build things and this is perfect for him to do just that. He had a birthday as well as Christmas coming up so I have to decide which one to give him this for???? Whichever one I know he will be taking pictures of his creations and sending them to me.

I am a spark reviewer and I got to try out this Melissa & Doug Twist and Turn Wooden Tools Construction Play set. This set is awesome. Very well made, colorful, easy to handle and build with and best of all has a wooden case and 44 pieces. The boys loved this set. It kept them busy for such a long time. The were very creative with it and wanted to make the airplane. The sky is the limit with this set, and anything that is made by Melissa & Doug, is quality made. This is perfect for 3 and 4 years old and up. Kids love to put things together, and with this set they have so much creativity, and they give you wonderful examples of what you can make with the wooden pieces. This set lets them use their minds and imagination. What a perfect toy or gift for someone with young kids. Please try this set out for your children and you wont be disappointed!! I really love the colors and how well it is made. See for yourself!!!

Our young grandchildren love playing with this building set. They have designed the samples given on the package and have come up with pretty clever ones of their own. The set is made of smooth painted wood, so no splinters. They should last quite a long time. It comes with wheels, blocks, bolts, a screwdriver and spacers to let their imagination build and create. The pieces are brightly colored. It also comes with a storage box to keep the pieces in when they aren't playing. They have had hours of fun making different things, and each one tries to outdo the next. They are learning while they play. It is fun for the older kids too.

I love this set as it comes with the tool that fits the pieces so it's easy for the kids to use. I have three grandchildren that will spend at least an hour at a time playing with this and building all sorts of fun things! Both boys and girls love this at least in my family. They are from the ages of 6 thru 8 so it is great for me that they will use this together and work as a team, It's very sturdy and easy to use to make fun creations.

My children had seen this at a friend's house and were happy to have their own. They jumped to pay right away and make all kinds of structures - they went for an animal theme instead of the construction on the packaging. While I personally had a hard time making things they had no prob at all. The wood itself is the high quality you would expect from Melissa and Doug toys.

The Twist & Turn Wooden Tools Construction Play Set os great, my son really likes this wooden play set. He is so intrigued by it and has been enjoying playing with all the different shapes and wheels. He has made quite a few different things with it. The whole set is made very nice and the pieces are very sturdy and strong so they don't break easy. This is a great educational way so they can use their motor skills to build things. He has been playing with it since he got it and has been having fun. I do highly recommend these wooden blocks for the kids to learn and use their motor skills.

My grandson loves playing with the Melissa & Doug Twist and Turn wooden set. It comes in this storage box to keep all pieces neatly together. There are colored wooden blocks and wheels that can be held together by colored spacers and colored screws. It comes with 16 building planks to help your child's imagination soar. My grandson was so proud of his creations that it stayed put together for days. No splinters yet, so it's well made.

This toy set is marvelous. It has a lot of cool pieces. The pieces are structurally good. It is a good toy set to open kids' minds. And the kids love it.

My 3 year loves construction toys and he loves this set!! He tore into it right away and got his older brother to help him. I don't think my 3 year old could put these together by himself because it would be harder for him. But, he could play with it by himself and just screw pieces together with his hand. He wouldn't complain either way. My older 12 year old was able to put it together quickly but we noticed there are no instructions, just a picture of how the end products should look. That's the only downside is that some kids may get frustrated trying to put it together on their own. In any event, the pieces are very well made and strong. The colors are very bright and eye catching. I would recommend this only if someone can be on hand frequently to help put the items together for younger kids.
