My favorite way to make coffee. No installation needed! You can choose as many cups as you want-put in the filter and coffee, boil the water and pour it over the coffee. You can make it as weak or strong as you want. Easy clean. Toss filter and grounds (into your compost bin) and wash with soap and water. Rinse well.

I bought this coffee maker because I was tired of the nasty burnt flavor of the coffee from my cumbersome counter hogging Keurig. After reviewing other (much more expensive) pour over coffee makers, I bought this one because of the price and ratings. After all, if I disliked it, I wasn't out much money. After I tasted my first brewing from this little gem, I was hooked. How could something so simple make such tasty coffee?!? I have used my Melitta every single morning since I got it. I just heat the water in my electric kettle and pour it from there. My only gripe is the shape of the neck of the carafe. It makes it hard to pour the last dregs of the coffee out without spilling any, but that is minor to me, and could just be me. Overall, I give this simple pour over coffee maker a solid 4.7 stars, but I'll round it up to 5 :)

Have used this model for years..... I find the pour over makes the best coffee!!! The price sure increased since my last purchase!

after my second coffee machine broke, I decided to go cheap and bought this. You do have to baby it when making coffee, so takes a bit more time but makes great coffee and no more spending $100+ on a machine that only lasts a coupe of years.

Bought to use when power is out,fortunately have a gas cook stove to heat water....works great....small size so does not take up too much room in small kitchen.....

This works better than expected. Although, you need to use a really fine ground coffee or your brew will be weak. After the second brew it was much better with a fine ground.

I broke my French press ,so I ordered this melitta . It does work fine enough and coffee is good also. I only gave it four stars because I can't make my coffee strong enough because the drip basket is small . And you can't use regular coffee filters with it. Otherwise its pretty basic and off grid or good for camping or outdoor kitchen like in my case. Thanks Gary

Works great for me. I'm only good for a cup maybe 2 in the morning so this is perfect without wasting coffee. Love the way the coffee taste. Love how compact it is. Wish the drip hole was a tad bit bigger other than that love it great buy.
