Morton Plain Salt, Non Iodized Salt, 26 oz

This is the gold standard for salt. Basic salt is always going to be useful for cooking and even some other things occasionally. Sometimes takes a while to go through one of these big containers. We usually decant the salt into a smaller shaker for table use.

I got this to mix with my iodized version. fifty fifty. the iodized one has a different taste , and if you're not used to it , this is a great way to acclimate. and if you're gonna be having medical tests , make sure to tell your doctor that you have iodized salt in your diet.. because some of the dyes etc. can effect one another You'll definitely use less salt if you mix it with iodide salt. because it increases the saltiness. so be careful when using I find I use less salt because of this Oh, if you're having trouble keeping the salt shaker on low.Because you want more salt flavor. Add a little iodine to salt.. If you don't want to mess with it , this is a good refined salt Will I Purchase again definitely. most people are not aware we need salt in our diet. can get It from some plants. but you should talk to nutritionist if you want to cut salt up completely

Do get iodized salt and don't skimp with generic, you can tell the difference. I trust Norton.

Great for allergies to iodine

The shopper substituted this Morton salt for Great value brand.. a dollar more per box... and I ordered three. I use it to kill grass... I feel like they picked the most expensive one and it griped my butt. and to top it off I sent my friend who just lives a couple of blocks from the store to check and see if they were out of the Great value brand and they weren't... so I don't understand.

It's the wrong salt . I should've specified I wanted iodized Morton salt I won't use this one It's not iodized

This item came in with a whole box of solid salt. I couldn't even shake it loose. It's solid. Just please mention to the manager. They should check every box.

This salt was full of moisture. When I first opened it I shook the chunks out of shaker. But they came back and the salt would stick to bottom of shaker. You can hear the chunks shake in the other 5 so Today it is all going to garage to mix in the sidewalk salt for winter. Terrible waste of money.
