Mr Coffee Harpwell 2 Qt Whistling Tea Kettle

I looked at a lot of teakettles. I wanted stainless steel, so it wouldn't rust, a minimum of seams, so it wouldn't leak, fast heating, a strong whistle, and a spout that would open and close easily, and would stay in either position. And, finally, I wanted a reasonable price. I got all of that with this kettle. It's exactly what I wanted.

I've been using my tea kettle for a few days now and it meets all of my expectations. At first I was worried that it wouldn't work well on an electric stove but I didn't have a problem at all. The whistle is loud enough for me to hear if I'm upstairs. The first time I used it the whistle didn't go off but I'm guessing I had too much water in the kettle. The second day I filled the kettle a little past half full and the whistle went off as soon as the water got hot enough. I would strongly recommend this product because it looks, feels, and works great. Nice and sturdy!

When my doctor told me to switch my coffee to tea I purchased a new tea kettle. This one is sufficiently large for sipping thru the day or having friends over for for tea and scones. The finish is easy care and bright. The whistle is not obnoxious. All around perfect for top of the stove day in and out.

The whistle is loud...the shape of the kettle is different and modern. For this price, you can't do better. I was using a pot on the stove and forgetting it. I love this kettle! You don't have to touch the spout at all...the mechanism for that is under the handle. Easy.....

Looking for a reasonably priced tea kettle to replace one I burned up on stove. Shopped around and found this one to have a high rating, so ordered. It seems to be a good product. Particularly like the button which opens the spout. It locks up without having to hold the button and has a tight fitting lid. Attractive and well designed.

WORKS GREAT. THE HANDLE STAYS COOL AND THE POUR SPOUT STAYS OPEN WHEN YOU PRESS THE LEVER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Brought if for my father home. it's a good weight and looks expensive .easy to use easy to clean.can't wait for my kettle to break so that I can purchase it for my house.

I needed a whistling tea kettle and this one is perfect. The price is great, good quality and I like the style of it. It's good size and I use it everyday.

Very nice kettle, the only reason I take one star off is that it is kind of hard for me to lift the lid off this as the handle does not go to the side but in all fairness I do have big hands. The top of the kettle goes on very nicely and securely. The whistle is pretty loud, I can hear it even when I have my gaming headphones while playing Battlefield 4 or Titanfall and talking with people on Team Speak. Just be sure you keep the water about 1/4 inch from the bottom of the pour spout or the whistle is not be very loud. It holds a decent amount of water about enough for 8 cups at least from a normal cup and I get about 4 cups from my large cup that holds about 2 normal sized cup of liquid. I bought this tea kettle because I kept forgetting that I had water in the pot on the stove because of the fact that I was in a car accident 13 years ago and take some really strong narcotics so I forget everything, I have been able to hear the whistle every time with no problem and have not scorched any more pans :) I would recommend this to anybody except people with hands larger than myself and the company that makes this one also makes one with a handle that goes up much higher.

This is a Great quality for its price . Only thing which I did not even see in detail specification was about grey iternal surface which is probably blasted steel as I could reserach. I am not sure about that part. Have been using it for last 2 weeks , overall it works great.
