The self learning …. Was not working out for me personally….. but this thermostat is very accurate. Well made easy to install and use- I highly recommend this product…… The app is great,- adjust temp - from my phone and keep an eye on the house when you're away……

Best decision I ever made made. Only you can control from your phone which helps when multiple people live in the house and want to adjust the temperature. Then when you ask nobody knows nothing. Who laughing now?

This is my second NEST thermostat. I have one upstairs and one down. I love the online features, simplicity of install and that they both just worked out of the box the first time. No need to call for help. Took about 15 min from start to finish.

It took a little longer than I expected to install, I had a little help from my brother-in-law, first time for him to. Had a little wiring problem, but it told me what the problem was, went to the web site looked at the pictures and fixed the problem. Worked great. We have a two story house and the thermostat is upstairs, what a dream now, I can sit at the kitchen table and adjust with my laptop. This will be great when we go away on trips.

I just ordered this online Thanksgiving morning and it was on my doorstep Friday! I installed it myself and it could not have been easier. Setup was also a breeze! I've only had it a couple days so I can't say yet about energy savings but I bought it on sale at Sams, and Nicor and ComEd both have rebates until the end of December so my out of pocket cost for The Nest is $50! I'm a happy lady!

So far so good. Installation was a bit challenging, but we got it done. Enjoy being able to set it on "Eco" when we are away from home, and being able to turn it on remotely. Also, not having to get out of bed to adjust the thermostat. It can easily been done on your phone.

I wish we would have known it doesn’t fit all furnaces before we ordered ! We have a brand new house and didn’t realize that it wouldn’t work . So know we have to take the time to return it . Saddened that we thought we had ordered a product to assist us with our needs , turns out it just complicated matters

This thermostat just goes offline and drops wifi, just like all the other reviews stated. I have another 1st generation I've had for years, when I switch the old one out. It still worked perfectly. How can they just keep overlooking this issue with so many people complaining about this very expensive smart thermostat. It's crazy. Don't buy it. Google you should be ashamed for this.

Broke within 5 months but Google replaced it under warranty
