Smart Thermostat Installation

I replaced my old one w/ the newer version. They work really efficiently

Chris sent a message to inform that he was on his way and was promptly on time for the scheduled appointment. He encountered a wiring schematic he had not worked before and took the time to check multiple resources to ensure hook up would be done correctly. Chris then completed the setup and tested everything to make sure it worked correctly. Chris was very personal and professional.

Brandon was awesome! He ran into several roadblocks and worked hard to fix them and make sure everything was up and running the way it should. He is also super personable and kind. You guys have a stellar employee that we would be lucky to have back for future needs! Great service - we are really impressed!

Took a bit of time (2:00PM-9PM). I had to leave the house a couple of times, but always asked if there was anything he needed until I got back. He was always good, but later said that was his delay. There was plenty of work to be done while I was gone (like mounting 31 sensors). Instead he waited for me to get back to do that. He was very knowledgeable, but also ran into issues with customer support when closing the ticket. Very long process.

The HelloTech technicians are NOT electricians. The first guy who tried installing my Ecobee thermostat installed the backplate backwards. The thermostat wires were not aligned correctly. This took 3 hours of his time and he unfortunately did not know what he was doing. Don't recommend. A second HelloTech guy came out but was unable to fix the faulty work of the previous technician.

The tech came and did not know how to install the thermostat And he did not install it. He also lost a piece of the thermostat and damaged the product. I want my money back

Didn't realize this is just to get you to another person to pay for installation. Waste of money

No. He did not have any identifying items to let me know he was with HelloTech. He had no clue as to what the job was he accepted. He knew nothing about installing the Ring devices. Did not have is own tools such as a ladder and extension cord. He brought a plug in drill to complete the task and could not plug it in outside. He left twice once because he did not have a ladder and again because he purchased a ladder that was not tall enough. He used my bathroom without even attempting to ask me. His overall attitude was nasty. I canceled his job and requested to reschedule with another tech to complete the job I'm paying for.
