Love the new larger sleek version of the thermostat. Easy to install and operate.

This thermostat is a little pricey, but it has saved us on our monthly energy usage. Setup was a breeze. We had the original nest (prior to merging with Google) and it lost connectivity after the merge. Finally upgraded and I love the app and ease of tracking. The eco feature seems much more consistent on the newer model. I like that it can automatically detect when someone walks by to light up. Monitoring from your phone is a breeze!

This new thermostat has so many improvements over the Gen3! It also takes the temperature average between the thermostat and the sensor rather than one or the other as your set point. I have 2 Gen 3's and 3 sensors that I will be very excited to upgrade as they age.

Product it great. I like it. The newer app - no so much. Sad to find out the hard way the required upgrade now has the Google Home app which is under development and IS NOT THERE. The Nest app was SO MUCH BETTER. Thermostat gets thumbs up. Google Home app - do better. Please. And thank you.

It is a bit fancier than it's predecessors. The wall plate does not completely cover up precious models, but not a deal breaker. The screws do line up with the old model that is no longer wifi supported. easy installation and setup.

Still learning how to best use this. It is somewhat annoying that it delays your temperature change. And that it decides to raise the setting by a degree or two to save energy without asking you. Maybe it’s too smart. Definitely seems to have a mind of its on. But I may not have figured it out yesterday

This arrived in a box that had already been opened. It wasn’t clear from the description that this would be the case. The product itself is reasonable, navigation could be improved, and it’s expensive for what it does. Given some prior versions of Google Nest thermostats will no longer be supported from Sept, we didn’t have much choice but to upgrade.

I received broken sealed product. Box was damaged

The item came as damaged. Contacted the seller for return, but no response so i had to contact walmart. Walmart told me to return it in person at their store, but deny and said this needs to be return online. I contacted walmart and said they will send me a return label, but never did. Contacted walmart again and said they will refund you without returning. waited over 10 days and still no refund. Contacted them again and they said they will refund within 10 days... been doing this for couple of months and the same process continues... this is the worst experience ever!!!

Bought a Google Nest thermostat online from a third party SavingsRus at Walmart. The product did not work and it caused damage to my HVAC by blowing out the fuse. Initiated a return with Walmart. Was asked to return the item at a store. Took it to Walmart in Martinez, CA. The lady at the return desk (Angie) said that the code of the product in the box and the code on the box did not match and would not take it. The manager Ashley S was called. I was advised to call customer service. Spoke to Adrian. He advised me to leave the product in the store with Ashley and the refund would be processed. Now I am left without the product and being told that Walmart can not process the return.
