Google Nest Wifi Pro Wi-Fi 6E Mesh Router, Snow, 2-Pack

I looked to replace my Netgear Orbi RBK50 set after receiving notice that it is a few months away from being deemed end of life. I read mixed reviews on the Nest Pro, but decided to take a chance since Walmart has a great return policy. So far, it has been amazing. I'm getting faster download and upload speeds consistently from what I had with the Orbi, and the coverage spans my whole property, which was spotty with the Orbi. I was running on a VPN work meeting through WebEx and my wife was streaming on a Roku at the same time, and neither of us saw any signs of lagging or buffering. I got a great TP-Link unmanaged switch (should be unmanaged, per Google guidance) to accommodate hubs and my PC. The switch was only $16 and works perfectly. So, I got a better than expected network for about $200 that was a piece of cake to setup with all the features that I need - can't complain at all about that. these were a great upgrade and dramatically improved our connection

Product was on sale and it works wonderfully well, covering our entire house with super-fast internet

Installation was simple with the exception of the second pod. I could not install it where I wanted it because it would not connect to the first main pod. I had to move it to a new location and a new location. The signal is not strong, but it works.

I thought these were just extenders, but one of them has to be hardwired so you really only get one extender The instructions say to login into your Google Home account and follow those instructions, but I did not see any CLEAR instructions.

As with most Google hardware it's hit and miss and the same can be said of their support. After a day and a half of trying to get this router to connect with a Verizon 5G modem I'd determined it simply was not compatible without changing Verizons modem settings and even that was a long shot. I had already spent too much time trying Google's recommendations and just decided to return it. Walmart return policy was quick and easy.

It is very hard to set it up. We had to reset it again by calling twice for set up help. The tech was very helpful. But after reset the Google Nest Pro 6E, the speed was not as expected. It could only transfer half of the speed, loosing 300 to 500 mgbt from the modem. Could not get it work with the speed and range we were looking for.

I should have listened to other reviews. Advanced settings are all locked down, so you can't do anything to address the super-finicky wandering bands…constant sticky client issue means even though I'm paying for 1G internet service (verified receiving at the router), I routinely have to forget and reconnect the network to laptops and phones to get above 20Mbps download speeds…as soon as you re-add, speed jumps back to ~300-700Mbps. Infuriating.

Have been contacting Walmart for over 3 months on how I never received my product and Walmart or the 3rd party seller don't give me a solution. Very frustrating !!

This is our 3rd nest pro that has complete hardware failure.
