Great Cable Modem
I bought this to replace an older Nighthawk cable modem that was over 5 years old but still working. This unit was easy to setup and is faster. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Ready yourself for future upgrades
.... after updating my router this week, it helped alot with speed. Yet some glitches in my home wifi smart plugs and devices would have glitches. Even with a one story, 800 sq ft apt, I wanted better webpage loading, too. I thought I may as well go with a new modem, too, and be "set" for a few years. This modem makes my Cox wifi whiz a great speed, right close to 1gig, and is set up to handle future gig increases, too. The features on this are too numerous to ramble on about, but between ease of set-up and small footprint, it was a great buy. I priced features, speed and future ready options, and this was the best for someone living in a smaller space than a large home. I've happy with this.

works well, some difficulty with install
The modem works as claimed and meets all performance needs. I had a problem with it getting on line. I called the help line and determined that the problem was with the ISP. They had to do something on their end to get the ISP and the modem to communicate.

Great Product and Easy to get Up and Running.
Easy set up and activation through my ISP. Now I need one of those fancy mesh Wi-Fi 6E routers!

Works Find for My Internet Needs
I was appreciative that Netgear sent me an email letting me know it was time to update my router with a link to ensure I was getting the correct one that worked with Xfinity. Setup was easy and it's working fine. Internet connection is good. No issues so far.

Improved performance with an easy switch to Nighthawk
Very pleased with the immediate improvement to my internet speed. I only wish I had made switch earlier!

Seamless transition
Well, the old one was working just fine and now so is the new one. Being on a fixed income I'm not a fan of forced upgrades that aren't in my budget but that's not Netgear's fault. Just a sign of the times.

Don't Buy CM 1200 Modem
This Cable modem is terrible. It has four ports in the back of it. I can't hook a router ,access points or nothing to it. I have been on the phone with Xfinity and Netgear trying to get help with it.
