NETGEAR Nighthawk BE3100 WiFi 7 Dual-band Router (RS70)

I purchased this router in the hope that it would improve the performance of my wireless VR headset. It has certainly met my expectations. I live in a small rural town, and my internet provider just upgraded my service. The RS100 allows me to take full advantage of my 1.2 Gbps internet speed, it easily covers my 1300sq ft condo, and the Wi-Fi 7 capability provides a fast and secure connection with my VR headset. Oh, and I'm a fan of the Armor network security. Bottom line, really good performance at a very reasonable price.

so far the size is smaller which is space saving, but the speed and functionality is about the same for my previous Netgear router. However, the price is much more. Hope, Netgear can give more promo discount for returning customers.

My previous Netgear router had reached the end of upgrades and support so after doing some research I upgraded to the BE6500 WiFi Router. I only have a few items on my network and this model addressed all my needs. It was seamless to connect and setup using the app on my phone.

This is a great router. It is easy to setup with the Nighthawk app. It has a stable connection and it automatically connects with the best band for your needs. The router is easy to manage through the app as well.

Very easy to set up and has an excellent security suite. I really liked the ability to block new devices from joining my Wi-Fi network. And the ability to later allow access to my Wi-Fi.

I don't need the super speeds offered by high end routers. But, upgrading to this router from my older Netgear unit, my internet speeds were boosted by 10%. With my internet speed of a half gig I am impressed in the increase. This router covers my 2100 sq ft home with no problems and my wifi network is running well without a hitch.

Setup was simple once i was able to get the QR code to scan. My devices are moving faster and smother. We haven't experienced any lag time. This is my first Netgear router. I purchased it to replace a Linksys router. I really appreciate that its compatible with the Nighthawk App makes firmware updates simple.

Good product - but I would have been happier to keep my old one. The only reason I bought this router was because my old one was no longer supported with updates. This new one, while more capable on paper, doesn't provide any real-world improvements over the older model I had. I would have been much happier if Netgear had just kept supporting my old router.

I would love to give this a five star rating because it was so easy to install, but since we've had it, our internet connection has cut out many times. Our last router that we had ( same brand), the Internet connection ran smoothly. This router is not working as smoothly.

Trying to get this set up was a joke. There's no instructions other than a little picture, and if that doesn't work it tells you to go on the app and then the app isn't working so then you have to call support and spend 20 minutes online with them trying to get the thing going. Very frustrating! Otherwise I guess it's okay.
