The biggest tip is not to buy the data card that is non refundable if you have any problems. I called Straight Talk first and they told me after I purchased and received the unit, to call back and purchase the data and set up the service through them. It went perfectly smooth and everything works great.

Excellent purchase. After becoming so frustrated with Antitiem Broadband lack of customer service, constantly having connection issues and in a three year period going from 80 dollars a month to 130 I had enough. Glad I made the switch. Set up in 10 minutes and running smoothly.

it is a good device if you want Internet and not have to sign up with a contract. I'm on the 45 dollar a month plan and the Internet connection has worked fine for me. sometimes, I have to unplug it and plug it back in but that's only when there's bad weather. I live in Texas, so I've only had to do it a total of 3 times. I've had this Internet for 3 months now and I plan to use it for a long time.

The most challenging this about this install is that you first need to pay for the monthly service in advance of being able to set it up. I contacted ST online and via chat a rep was able to process the monthly service purchase and then authorize the unit to work. I also use ST for my wireless service provider so with that discount the internet services comes out to $35 a month. I get speeds up to 400mg and have noticed no difference between this router and the Spectrum service I used to have. I have two kids at home that are constantly streaming, I'm working on the internet all day and my wife is streaming movies all with zero issues. This is a no brainer.

I'm telling yall that this is well worth the money...I had doubts about it I didn't think the connection would be good but it is and it's fast! My other internet I was pay 160 a month and the connection was sorry but now I'm saving so much money and I'm getting great service connection...I'm blessed! Give it a chance!

I ordered this for my sis in law after purchasing my own straight talk home router. I love it! never buffers, im.swt up on auto pay so it never goes out. You fully own it and you dont get hit with extra taxes and fees or price increases. your plan us $45 a month after purchasing your home router. you cant beat it! you can also take it with you if you go on vacation! i cant say enough great things about straight talk home router!!!

I am a senior citizen and I hooked this up and had it working in 10 minutes by my self. it's that easy. Also half the cost of what i was paying with my old provider.

There are definitely better options out there. If you need Wi-Fi for watching TV shows or movies then this would be great for you… as long as no one else is also connected to it. It’ll work great and then lose connection at the most random times so be ready for that. If you’re using this for gaming, don’t. You will rage 100%. All in all, choose something else if you can.

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK WITH STRAIGHT TALK TO MAKE SURE IT WORKS IN YOUR AREA DO NOT BUY BEFORE LOOKING INTO IT. I bought mine without research and they sell it in the area but it doesn’t work in the area they are selling it. Which makes no sense. There should be something stating this before purchase on the Walmart app.

I was told by customer service that this would work and when I received it NO it did NOT, now after buying a 45.00 card and the 69.99 box I am out of money and I am mad. Yes I am going to return the box but I was told the 45.00 card I can't return. So I am out of 45.00 and I am very angry.
