Nordic Ware Deluxe 16.8" x 11.6" Nonstick Cast Aluminum Reversible Grill Griddle

Recently purchased for my father so he can cook his bacon outside on his grill. He said that when he cooked certain things inside the house it splatters everywhere. Now he will be able to cook more outside and enjoy his foods more having this to put on top of his gas grill. It is easy to clean and gives an opportunity to cook things that might otherwise fall through the cracks of the grill.

Used this griddle for taco Tuesday and cooked three steaks on it with great results and cooked evenly! We didn't use any oil and the non stick surface gives it a great sear without anything stuck on it! The weight and design make it easy to flip sides to heat up the tortillas.

It's built well. Nice and large. It has improved over the last 25 years compared to my old one. Ergonomics are great and easy to cook on. It stores easily and instructions are simple. Would highly recommend! You can use either side and food cooks evenly.

This griddle is convenient and easy to use. This griddle is reversible, one side is smooth and flat the other side is a ridged grilling surface. This fits over one whole side of stove, it goes right on top on top of my coil burners. This honestly is the best way to make your bacon!!! And also any extras you wanna cook, I love making pancakes on this griddle as well. This is easily portable, and could also be used on a grill. I highly reccomend this to everyone.

I'm impressed by this Nordic Ware reversible grill griddle! It fits perfectly on the burners of my stove and makes cooking larger meals a breeze. It heats up evenly and didn't warp at all after first use. It is heavy and feels very durable. I had no issues with food sticking to it either! I would definitely recommend this griddle!

For a Nordic Ware product, I expected this to hold up a bit better. It has a 4 star rating because it is still functional for what it's worth. The grilling side is easily scratched up from using it on a flat top surface (for which it was designed) and other surfaces. The griddle side has held up fine so far, but the entire thing has warped from only medium to med-high heat to cook burgers twice. Overall, I think it is a good product with just a few flaws and worth it if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a cast iron one....

I'm very happy with this Nordic Ware Deluxe Reversible Grill/Griddle. One of the biggest advantages is how lightweight it is. Unlike cast iron, it's easy to lift, handle, wash, and store. The size is also perfect as it fits comfortably in my sink which makes cleanup quick and hassle-free. I have to emphasize the nonstick surface as it works great. I made pancakes on the griddle side and they cooked evenly with no sticking. I do have an electric stove so it took a little experimenting to find the right heat setting, but once I did, it was very easy. I prefer this over a cast iron as I found it to be much more difficult to maintain. The Nordic Ware griddle/grill is much more forgiving and beginner-friendly. The only minor downside is that it can slide around a little on the stovetop which I contribute to it being lightweight.

This bowed from day one! After first use it bowed and goes flat sometimes when using but most times does not. I love Nordic Ware normally, but this was very cheaply made and very thin. Not what I expected at all. From brand or material! After buying I actually told my father who gifted me another the same day, and I wish he hadn't wasted the money. They were both absolutely terrible! Do not buy.

I read the reviews. It looked great - but it isn't. I've had it for 2 days and the coating is flaking off. I was careful and followed every instruction. I went back and checked the reviews again. This is what I have learned. The 5-Star reviews are "incentivized." If you filter those out, the real story is evident.

I have been buying Nordic Ware for decades. The quality of the products lately have not been very good. This grill the food sticks even if fire not high and the non-stick coating started to ware off after 2 uses. Surface already scratched. Will not buy again.
