Worth the money, you'll love it
Very affordable and beautiful uses batteries I put rechargeable ones. There's also one that you could plug into the wall so look real good before you purchase for the one you want.

Good product, well made and it works well. It's battery powered so you don't need a plug and shutdown after a few minutes of inactivity.👍

Disappointed
This does not plug in. It takes six double A batteries. I'm disappointed because I did not know it needed batteries. Grandson was happy with it, so that is all that matters.

Nope. Not Smithsonian quality.
I expected more from an item associated with the Smithsonian name. The box touts "An incredible Plasma Light show at your fingertips". No. it's not. The cheap one I had previously purchased for my grandson had a much brighter, more lights and better reaction to touch. The lights react to sound sporadically and it has to be loud music or set the lamp on the speaker/music source. I assumed (my bad) that this would have both ac/dc choices. I was wrong. It takes 6 AA batteries. It gets expensive. I do not recommend this item. I have been trying to return it but the Walmart app is "having difficulty at this time" for several weeks.

Very small
This item is no where near the size it was stated. It states 12 inches. The sphere is about 5.5 in and from base to top it barely measures 9 in. Really disappointed when it arrived.

Item not as description - stated Plug-In
This item clearly states PLUG-IN .....when it arrived it states need 6 AA Batteries. I'm NOT happy!!!

Not what I ordered
I specifically ordered this one because it said it was a plug-in and didn't require batteries. Well there isn't even a port to to plug it in. It also requires 6 AA batteries! Very disappointed!!!
