Orbit H2O-6 Gear-Drive Outdoor Hose Watering Sprinkler on Metal T Spike

I purchased 11 of these. The challenge was to string them together with hoses. I covered approximately 450 linear feet. I purchased some hose and new male/ female adapters to screw into the unit itself. So far my system is working great. I do have 3 to 4 heads on at a time to keep the water pressure up. Good system to get new growth going on part of my 1 acre parcel.

I had one of these in my garage and decided to try it watering a large horse paddock. I realized I could save time by buying another and attaching it to the hose system (it takes 3 since there's only one spiggot) and I halved my watering time by half! Super affordable!

I use two of these daisy chained on a water timer to water my backyard, as well as another two daisy chained on the front yard. Work great. The different nozzle settings come in handy when trying to dial in the perfect spray distance and coverage. One of my water spickets doesn't have the greatest water pressure, and I tried daisy chaining a third sprinkler and the pressure drop at the third sprinkler head resulted in it's gear drive occasionally stopping. So keep that in mind, if you have limited water pressure don't expect to be able to daisy chain endlessly, as the gear drives need the pressure to function reliably.

I ordered this online because it wasn't available at the store and arrived within two days. It has different settings for how tou want the water delivered that you can change turning the top of the unit like a dial. You can also control how far the water shoots out. The unit is simple but efficient, and the price is lower than in other stores.

Sprinkler did readjusted it self over time of 45 min and began over shooting a fence line in to neighbors yard and then leaving a dry patch on the other. I had even stood with it while it went back and forth about 6 or seven time in the beginning of the 45 mins when I went turn it off It changed because the fence was very wet and had over shot for quite awhile.

I’m ordered 2 orbit sprinklers and both worked initially but one stop rotating 2 days later. I will be returning the item to the store but really negates the idea of having a delivery to save time

I purchased this sprinkler as an alternative option to use at my RV site to water the lawn as part of my annual agreement. It was easy enough to setup but it leaks and causes a big puddle. The range also exceeds the area I have to maintain so not the best fit for my situation. I have gone back to my OG method to water the lawn myself with a hose and nozzle.

I'm not a fan of the leak the sprinkler has, but I guess it waters the lawn leaky or not.

First time I tried it, it poured water out of the bottom, which flooded the area around it, and onto our porch, and right after had a series of unfortunate events occurred and forgot to return it. It’s now home to a family of spiders, don’t waste your money!
