My Daughter loved it...
Stumbled upon this item again and thought I'd leave a review. My daughter absolutely loved this item last Christmas. We worked on the assembly together but she could do almost all of it no problem at 8 years old. Defintily a fun little project that we were able to do together.

Ages listed in appropriate
Product did not was it was a kit to build the Robot. Said it could be changed to make one of four models, but didn't said it had to be built from the beginning, and was not easy to change models. I had my 13 year old grandson come to help me build it (it was for an 8 year old) and he was not able to comprehend the instructions, even though he is good at building things from written instructions. It was rated for 8 and up and could not possibly be put together by an 8 year old, even with adult help. The final straw was when they instructed us to "push the wires into place" the tool that was supplied did not fit into the space to get the wires pushed.

Missing pieces
Given as a gift to my nephew. When he assembled it he and his dad discovered 2 important pieces were missing. It will be returned. Also, after I purchased, the price was reduced by over $7, not a sale price.

Don't buy
The robot comes in hundreds of pieces and you have to put it together. Then we found there was important pieces missing. I am taking it back. It should have stated you have to put it together.

This is wayto complicated for kids to understand. It is junk , does not fit together well. The instruction are hard to follow. Do NOT buy
