OXO Silicone Sink Strainer

I've always liked OXO products because of how well they are designed and manufactured. This strainer is no exception. It captures the little pieces of junk that would clog my kitchen sink's plumbing - definitely a good thing for a sink that has no disposal. It's best feature is that it's easy to clean with the nifty "pop out." I definitely would recommend it. There's another version that allows you to close off the drain, but I found it was harder to clean, so I switched to this one.

OXO Sink Strainer we bought fits perfectly over the hole to the garbage disposal of our kitchen sink. Water District recommends reducing the amount of food that is put down a sink and this strainer really helps us do that. It is so easy to turn inside out to remove captured food and deposit it in the trash can.

works easily as advertised. the well is deep enough that it hold a fair amount which stops me from having to dig excess out of drain top. also, fits well so excess does not go to drain top.

Great sink stopper. Love the pop out feature so I don't have to dig into the catcher and scrape anything out. Just pops right out into the trash and rinse.

Good value for the money, but it tends to move a little bit when water hits it from the faucet. It does catch and prevent a fair bit of food debris from going down into the drain, which is a good thing.

Watch what you want it to do. This does NOT stop water from going down the drain, so you can not fill the sink. Be sure you want it just to catch debrie when you are rinsing plates before you wash them

Love this silicone sink strainer for its easy to clean and empty, as you can empty it without touching the food leftover, all you have to do is flip %26 invert to empty.

Works as advertised. Very convenient to use, specially to get rid of waste - hold the know and reverse the cup.

This is a replacement. The old one lasted for 3 years. I like the design its very simple and works effectively. My favorite part is not having to scoop the food particles out with my fingers. I just hope this one will last longer.

It does not allow closing the drain, so keep your old one. But it makes discarding food scraps easier and less icky.
