Works great for camping enough for 4 cups of real strong coffee

The bottom and the cylinder are separate pieces. this means there is a little leakage around the bottom. The "seal" isn't tight enough. Still, I can make coffee with it, but Have to get it empty in less than an hour. Everything but this is excellent!

When it came in the mail, the top cover for the strainer basket was missing; I felt disappointed (and thought that was an easy way for someone to “pass off” an item like that). Later I looked in the Chillicothe, Missouri store and saw that all the same design pots had top covers. I felt taken advantage of by those handling my order and don't believe that I will order anything from Walmart on line through the mail again.

I am giving this product a 3 star because of the non removal of the lid...the item came boxed in an open box and the top was bent...I was smart and bend the connected thing so that the lid could align and fit the pot...It is aluminum made so it is not sturdy...makes a decent cup of coffee but I love my Farberware electric percolator...got this as a back up....

I liked that it was 10 cups, and I liked the style. But when making coffee it's quite messy. The lid dont seem to seal properly, and the basket top goes all the way around and I think that might be what causes the coffee pot's top not to fully seal. So it boiled over, no matter how low the heat.

Whoever designed this thing does not know the science of coffee perculator it shouldn't have 4 holes around type that goes up the middle impossible to work without plugging holes I used heavy duty packing tape now it works great but quality control obviously isn't testing these things great buy if u don't mind having to make the modifications of pioneer technology that water can't shoot up stem of perculator if its shooting out 4 not supposed to be there holes no pressure even with cherry red wood or blow torch it wont work but will over a tea candle if fixed the way it should've been

Seem leaks! Has since the first drop of water hit the bottom. I don't dare return this because they'll just resell it. I don't make coffee in it, because it weeps, and I don't want to handle hot coffee and drip it all over the great Unknown. I've resigned myself to the fact that I have to have instant coffee if I want coffee, and hot water is all I will make, but also can't leave it sitting on a counter or table because it keeps all the water out of it over time, so I can only put 3 cups worth in it, 1 cup for drinking, 2 cups for boiling/weeping/leaking. Then I put the water in a jug when it's cool, so we can reuse it later, but it's a level of frustration I shouldn't have to deal with. Not sure if the metal is why it leaks, but if I could find a seamless kettle, I'd buy it.

After unwrapping bubble wrap around coffee pot. Come to find out, the stem that goes inside was missing along with the coffee basket ... This isnt the first time ive had to return an item due to issues along this line ... why order on line if issues like this .. may as well make a trip to the store and get what i want at least i can inspect before i buy and save the aggravation

Does not work! I set up the coffee grinds and water per instructions and got nothing but a streaming hot cup of water! I was so disappointed because I wanted to believe that other negative reviews of this item were wrong. I should have listened! I DO NOT RECCOMEND buying this same yourself the time it takes to return it.

So first off the pot came in a shipping box by itself with no product packaging or any stuffing at all to keep it safe. It's missing the actual piece that holds the coffee and the lid barely fits. You have to maneuver it a bit. Couldn't return this fast enough.
