It didn't say legal size. I needed regular. I returned but they are good quality and what I needed only not so long or wide. You can depend on Pendaflex.

These simply would not fit in my new file cabinet drawer. In addition, the bottom base had a surprise insert that would not stay in place even with additional folders or files. Luckily, I found a different style in this brand that will work much better. With the right system, this would have otherwise been okay possibly. Normally, you can't go wrong with this quality brand of office supplies.

The folders themselves are fine, but the website did not make clear that these were not letter size folders. The word “standard “ was used in the description, which led me to believe they were standard, file cabinet size. They were actually legal size folders which will not fit in my cabinet. Yes, if one digs a little further for more info on the folders, the physical dimensions are given. I'm used to seeing descriptions like, “legal” or “letter” size and made the mistake of thinking “standard” meant it was letter size. There is nothing wrong with the items themselves. So just make sure you look closely when you purchase these folders, to be sure you are getting the size you want. I will be returning mine. Because of the lack of clear info, I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5.
