Pennington Black Resin Hopper Coach Wild Bird Feeder, 4 lb. Capacity

Have had it up for a few months now. Birds really do seem to prefer this one over the cute lighthouse feeder I bought at same time. It is easy for birds to eat from. Easy to see when it needs a refill. Easy to fill. It hasn't clogged with sprouted seeds. Seeds have not sprouted in seed tray when it rains as I have noticed it does in the lighthouse feeder.

Great bird feeder. I have many different birds from Cardinals to tiny Goldfinches eating from this feeder. I wanted to find a feeder that the Cardinals would be comfortable on, along with all of the other smaller birds, and this is it! They love it %26 so do I!

It is a nice bird feeder but in hindsight site I would order a different type. Only because the dove have taken over the large feeder and have run the smaller birds away. My solution was to move the large feeder into a different area so the small birds would use the small feeder into the first area. So far that is working.

I went through many feeders during the years, and so far, this is the only model that keeps seeds dry even in downpour, thanks to the sufficient "overhang" due to the sharp tapering. Very important that the hanging wire is completely enclosed inside a tube from the top to bottom, so the wire doesn't channel moisture into the seeds preventing mold growing (so many models fail this!). Resin material also looks more promising for longevity. And birds absolutely love this feeder! Usually traffic tails off if feeders are changed, but somehow, this one doesn't look suspicious to them. I could do with a different lid locking system, but that's nitpicking.

I like how this bird feeder looks. It holds a lot of seed, and the design keeps the rain out of the seed.

The only feeder the cardinals love. I have ordered them in the past and I hope it stays together better than the old one. I had to glue the old one for it to stay together.

Well crafted and stunning to look at. I've had 3 lil birds go to it within 2 hours. I am so glad I got this as I sourced other feeders and I decided on this one and am delighted!! Highly recommend!

I already had one just like it and Walmart was the only place I could find it on their website. It's a very good feeder.

Birds like it, but squirrels do too. That's why I gave it a 4. The top is kinda tricky to lock back after you put feed in.

This feeder is easy to open and close, the seed don't spill out the way my ither one dies and more birds are able to fit around it. Very light wieght so it's easy to manage once the seed are poured in (I usualy only fill half way right now). I would buy another if I had the room.
