We have lots of small birds, primarily finches at our bird feeder already so it's great to get one made for them. Some of the other bird food I see them picking through and basically just throwing it on the ground. This is all small bites so easy for the little birds to eat.

Feeding frenzy finch favorites is a blend of millet, sunflower chips and thistle. In my opinion it's more millet as filler seed and just a handful of thistle and sunflower mixed in. Overall it will still attract a variety of birds but I've noticed some species knock the millet on the ground to get to the sunflower. This is not a no waste blend but that's okay what drops on the ground other wildlife like squirrels and chipmunks eat. Finches are attracted to the thistle so you'll most likely see one on your feeder when using this. Overall this is a decent quality mixed seed,

The seeds look to be a good quality. I bought it for my outdoor finches and other small birds. Unfortunately, my house finches largely leave it alone. Because I bought a 10 lb bag I'm still mixing it in with other seed. But when I replace with fresh seed, most of the seeds remaining are the small golden seeds from Finch Frenzy. I live in central NJ so it's possible our finches have a NJ attitude!
