The birds love this suet...even birds like robins, which are typically worm and bug eaters. We have had bluejays, grackles, bluebirds, thrashers, mourning doves, starlings, red-winged blackbirds, red-breasted grosbeaks, titmouse, chickadees, red-bellied woodpeckers, red-headed woodpeckers, downy woodpeckers, northern mockingbirds, catbirds, brown-headed cowbirds, and towhees, all cone to the suet feeder and eat. The suet really goes fast when they hatch their young because it's nutritious and easy to eat for hatchlings. Great product!

I was really excited to try the Pennington Feeding Frenzy Sunflower Suet Treat Cake (11 oz) for our backyard birds. The quality looks great and the sunflower blend seems like it would attract a nice variety of wild birds. Unfortunately, it's been so cold here in Tennessee that we haven't had many birds around to test it out yet. I'm looking forward to putting it out once the weather warms up and seeing which feathered visitors stop by!

This is a very fatty suet cake. I like that the sunflower hearts are removed from their shell before being added to this. It fits great into my square suet house and doesn't crumble to the ground one in there. The birds around here doesn't eat these fatty ones as much as the drier ones, but it is eventually eaten up.
