Perky Pet 8lb Squirrel-Be-Gone II Feeder Home with Chimney, Brown, Wild Bird

This is THE best squirrel proof bird feeder I've found! So far- the squirrels cannot chew it, climb it, nor get the food! The hey can get on the top but getting to the front has not been possible, which is where the food is and how I have it hung. Awesome product!

Well made bird feeder. We've had it up 3 weeks and the squirrels haven't figured out how to take the top off yet. We haven't found a squirrel proof one yet. We'll see. But we really like it

Very easy to open and Phyl. I like that you can adjust the bar to keep heavier, birds or squirrels away from the feeder. It looks lovely. It is heavier, so it needs to be mounted or hung on a stronger branch.

This looks nice. It comes with a hole in the base for a pole mount, but it does not sit flat on the hole (it tilts on my pole). I have had bird customers and the build is sturdy, otherwise, but I need to come up with some kind of modification to make it more stable on the pole.

Looks like a nice feeder but the way it fits together is questionable. Had to re-bend the handle quite a bit so that it would hang straight. Also had to tighten all the screws and use other screws I had on hand due to poor fitting originals. The QC at Perky Pet factory is poor apparently.

I got it quick. It's pretty. I wanted to mount it on a pole but there was nothing to put on the pole to hold it. I will return it or exchange it. I have one and I like them.

The post mount in the bottom is BARELY attached. Every screw/hinge/attachment is loose. The metal used on this feeder is just a bit thicker than aluminum foil. Able to hold about half the advertised amount of seeds before the walls start to seperate. (Halfway up the little windows) Within 5 minutes of being on the feeder, the squirrel has learned to stand on the side of the bar, and it doesn't drop. Really is garbage. Walmart needs to Rollback this item to the manufacturer.

This is a well made beautiful all metal bird house with metal moving parts and was shipped to me in a thin layered non quilted plastic bag. One of the most ridiculous things I've seen. Truly amazing that it was not put in a box and/ or padded or SOMETHING, I will be returning it, I'm so surprised your shipping department would even consider shipping something like that.

It's not squirrel proof. Squirrels hand from the roof and eat the seed. I also noticed this morning that the bar the birds perch on one of the screws came out so now the perch is hanging on one side

So far I've gotten 2 delivered at separate deliveries and both squirrel guards are broken. There is no protection for it during transport from the store.
